I wouldn't bank on any accuracy in terms of physics or track layouts, 8 years and they still can't get tracks like Brands Hatch right.

Lets hope that you can ride kerbs now without the car bouncing like a jelly whilst mounting and dismounting the said kerb.

Well, I got a freebie demo and quite enjoyed it. To be honest, it is better than I thought it would be bearing in mind the slating it got earlier in the thread! Still not as good as it could be, but like the others I'll still buy it next Friday! Love the growling engines, BTW.

Cool. Although i think that's codies problem, they can hype a game up as much as they want safe in the knowledge that people will still buy it, people like me who are gonna be now knowing i've shelled out £30 for an average game. The only thing that's saving it is the wide range of motorsports on offer.
Codemasters getting complacent now? I think so!

The PS2 demo, is frankly amazing technically, on par with GT4 in my books, its very nearly as good as the PC version, and in some ways better...

I actually now think that the PC version is in fact a console port (which explains the like for like game modes, and lack of "PC enhancements").

That aside, the PS2 version by itself is an amazing achievement, its a pity that they didn't spend as much time developing the PC version...

I remember when they made games for the Commodore 64. You could get 4 games on one cassette tape for £2.99. How things have changed....

Usually with delay of a week it's due to marketing rather than any specific game problem. The game will already have been produced and duplicated it'll be either a logistics issue or much more likely a marketing one.

The codemasters website has said the 24th for ages (as has Amazon) so it looks like it's just Game that have got it as the 17th?

There's a surprise... ****ing useless they are lol

I had a huge row with some idiot in Game up Harlow town centre a few weeks ago. Me and my mate walked in, checked out the new releases, not much out, so we have a game on XBOX360's Project Gotham Racing. Didn't like it at first, found the handling just too drifty and didn't actually feel like you were controlling the car at all, which I was saying to my mate at the time. It comes up to just before 5 o'clock (my friend claimed they shut at 5.30 I believe it was) and the bloke goes "Right, we're turning that off now" and in nice friendly banta I went "Can we not just finish this last lap?" and he went "No.". A few seconds later, power turned off and he was just smirking.

So, I walked out angry spouting a bit of a abuse (as you do ), then my mate goes "He's following you! He's coming back out!!" and he stamped out "COME BACK HERE AND SAY THAT"... I turned around, strolled back up, then had a nice heated debate, ending with him saying I wasn't allowed freedom of speech in Game, because it will "put off other customers"... The funny thing is, a few moments after I criticised the game/console, I started complimenting it as I got more of a feel for it.

Game, useless..

Sorry to be a pain, but is it not possible to merge all these TOCA 3 / V8 Supercars 3 threads into one?
There are about 4 or 5 threads discussing this game.
