perhaps Audi can switch to the Superstars series
Audi Sport Italia is officially there and even Dindo Capello raced for them this season (at Adria) |

The BEST thing that could happen is if Audi races against Peugeot in the LMS.

The Common man (ie casual supporter) is more likely to follow F1 than Sporstcars.
The genuine petrolhead, who may sometimes own a Ferrari, is more likely to like sportscars - Look at the demographic figures produced by ALMS about the average earnings of their fans. LMS is no different (there are just less of them at the moment). |

Since I heard Ferrari and Audi.
"Admitting it has torn down Audi’s fuel injection system to understand its possibilities, Ferrari insiders suggest that its new engine technology will allow for a 10 per cent improvement in horsepower more and at least a 40 percent reduction in emissions." I like F1, but there isn't too much relevant technology there. Everything is prohibited. But Audi was able to test out FSI direct injection very well in Le Mans. http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsAr...i-F430/228225/ |
