well Ford didn't bother to flog to death in promotions their 1, 2, 3 at Bathurst and ditto Holden for their championships the last 2 years, the only add that Holden did with a driver was the Bathurst one flogging VE's around Bathurst time.

Well air conditioners are developed by (mechanical) engineers, and the Britek ford is developed by (mechanical) engineers. There you go.

I'm not sure of the link from cricket to hair regrowth as hawked by Warney though! Of course there is a strong connection with between with the curators and their excellent work.....

Yeah, I like it,........ lets go with that theory.

Now see, Warney, being the astute scholar that he is, would have done his homework, and being in the market for a hair regrowth product would have been fully knowledgable on the subject before making his informed decision to back that product.
Gee, you can tell its the 'off season' can't ya

BRW have released their list of Top 50 Australian Sports Earners List for 2009. A big mover is Marcos Ambrose ranked #7 earning a tidy $5.44 million, up from $1.21 million in 2008 despite a weaker US Dollar.

I'm sure he gets 40% of the prize money, plus a cut of merchandise, sponsor income and gets a retainer. So yeah it probably does come out around that figure.

I dont buy this either, sloppy journalism, not wrong but very misleading in the context of winnings of say a golfer or a tennis player.

Why don't you do an in-depth investigation on it, cavvy?

Then you can create a factual article that fills us all in

What exactly are you disputing about it?

If you ever visit Charlotte you'd see that Nascar probably rivals F1 now in terms of the $$$ in the sport. Especially if you see some of the homes these guys live in.

If I could go back and do it again, I don't think I would have wasted a penny on open wheel racing or trying to bother with that. I should have been out on short track ovals instead.

earnings versus winnings.

How much does Marcos earn in a season versus the winnings of say a golfer or footballer.
