Naming rights value ? Well done the ratepayers of the City of Ipswich.

Ipswich Mayor Paul Pisasale said the naming rights, which were secured yesterday, were worth millions of dollars to the city.

“The beauty of this is we got the naming rights for no extra cost and the city’s name will be seen for more than seven hours on television,” Cr Pisasale said.

“This is worth millions of dollars and we will get a great return on our V8 investment.

Ipswich tourism.... hrmmm.... there's Willowbank, and I suppose there's the railway museum. I guess there are a couple of caravan parks, did they fill in that hole in the main street? There's always McDonalds Yamanto, it's a popular stop over.
