You just need Boris Said to drive it! The man just knows how to make Mustangs go fast.

The Camaro looked cool at Daytona.
Nice to see a Mustang make it to GT3 in Europe. Nice car.

Equipe Verschuur will race two Camaro's in Dutch GT4 series. The car is based on the Riley Camaro for the Continental Tire Series.

In Belgium a team is developing a Camaro "GT3" for Belcar.

So maybe in 2011 we could see a Camaro in FIA GT4, or maybe it might appear in some races, say Spa?

Yep (maybe even in some rounds this season?)

If the car is successful in Dutch GT (stronger series as FIA GT4) I am sure we will see the car in FIA GT4.

Possibly even the 24 hours in Spa or some races. The variety in GT3 and GT4 is amazing.

Now we may have Mercedes in GT3 for 2011...

“The Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 is certainly one of the most beautiful cars in its class,” said Stephane Ratel, CEO of SRO Motorsports Group. “We would welcome the teams who would want to race the Mercedes SLS in the FIA GT3 European Championship next season, subject, of course, to the usual FIA homologation procedures. To have four top German manufacturers – Mercedes, BMW, Audi and Porsche – competing in the same race on equal terms against the most prestigious Italian and British Brands – Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin and the American icons - Corvette, Mustang and Viper confirms GT3 as the most successful GT category of all times and as an essential stepping stone to the GT1 World Championship”
How nice would be a serie with the 4 Germans, the Italian, the Brits and the Americans?

And he is missing the Japanese...

Indeed. Although I'd ask a second British brand, for example Lotus with its Evora.

Beat me by 2 minutes.

Yeah - I think GT3 has had it's day

How real is the "full season" bit - will all cars be at every race, will extra cars do 1-offs?

Nice to see the Mustangs back. Shame the Morgans have gone, though. 36 full-season entries is still healthy, I do hope we'll see a few more local entrants at each round. Be nice if we can regularly reach 40 cars. How many single-class championships can lay claim to that many entries?

Also, I wonder if the Citation Cup will move to GT3 this year...?

The Citation Cup? Don't know. Thought it ran in GT2 last year, so it would be logical to move it to GT3 - many more amateurs.

They are Mustangs, but they're not the Mustangs - those campaigned by Matech a few years ago. These, IIRC, are brand new peices of kit.
