The SpeCTator should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Will be there all 3 days with Mrs SpeCTator plus some racing friends who have travelled all the way from Christchurch, New Zealand to be at Goodwood.

Would love to see Iain in a 500, maybe staright after a Galaxie drive, largest to smallest, some sort of Guinness record?

I have a rare Belgian 500 Cooper lookalike going spare, that Ian can borrow for a while, IF he gets it going first.

We'll be in 'the field' with a crowd.

Mrs Streeter is on the guest list for Saturday, and she has a chauffers pass as well (if he is appropriately attired) Mrs Zef will furnish her with bubbly refreshments if required I'm sure.

Whilst I'm sure that "Petit Arthur" will be in attedance, the PA refered to by Zef is Pete Alexander who is driving a Mk6 Merlyn in the Madgwick Cup. I'll also be down with my Cortina as a "glam cab" to join in the party.

The list of star drivers seems a bit thin? Perhaps its does not include "other" professional drivers?

Excuse the 'Goodwood virgin' question but do the public have access to the paddock to view cars etc or is this out of bounds? Not very clear on the ticket buying page so thought it best to check before I take the plunge. Any ideas? Thanks

Gary, access into paddocks in previous years was restricted to an extent. Presume this year will be same. The original squares behind pits are only accessible to competitors, GRRC members and others that have managed to get a 'paddock access' pass. You can't buy one as a normal punter. Oh, and period attire only- even with a pass you wouldn't get in wearing jeans and trainers. There are other paddocks outside these where access has been free in past years. Sometimes these contain more interesting cars than the main ones.

Now is not a bad time to befriend a GRRC member, mechanic or driver....
