Thanks Andy as always! It appears that the Rebellion ALMS and WEC liveries are quite different. No Lotus, Shell, or Mouser sponsorship for ALMS? The latter two were on the cars at Sebring.

That was my mistake, the team sent me the art with Mouser, and come Friday it still hadn't appeared so I removed it, only to see it on the car the next day. Shell was a late deal and I forgot to add this post Sebring.

Also, it is unclear if the Shell branding (and indeed the revised red on the sidepod) from WEC Silverstone will be used or it will stay as per Sebring. No Lotus branding on any of the Rebellions in 2013

The other car I'm not sure about and the team have never replied to emails is Performance Tech, They ran Visit Florida in Sebring. This isn't listed on the entry list, but it is implied on the press release and the marketing company listed as sponsor is the same.... so you'll have to get your pens out for that one.

Sorry about that, its been a crazy month with work and other stuff, dont think I've done more than 4hrs sleep in any one night, but thats my choice

Do you mean in the ALMS? Because it was there at Silverstone.

oh yeah, never noticed that. Apologies. Good catch, I'll make a note, at least for the WEC Guide. I see that at Sebring, it ran with Rebellion branding in that area. Have to see what happens at Long Beach

I imagine that it could be quite inconvenient if that burned... also - having to get out of the car quickly, his pitstop/driver change routine might have kicked in and that includes taking out the insert.

According to Timing, we seem to have some surprise entries.

I am only speculating based on numbers, but it seems like the Dyson #20 is at the top of the charts, though the time itself isn't quick, they have it scored as #1. Must be some sort of handicapping system. Listed in 6th is the #2 car, must be McNish in the Audi.

The fastest GT car listed is #10 GTC of Faieta, in 7th overall somehow, ahead of all the GT cars.

Don't forget Qualifying is later tonight. Starting with the GTC's at 1705 local track time. There will be streaming on ESPN3, and I think on the ALMS website for international viewers. Still plenty of time to enter FRC if you are interested.

Well that was confusing — so why are P2s so slow at Long Beach? Ryan Briscoe just barely got the forth spot overall in qualifying ahead of the LMPC pack, with the ESMs starting 11th and 12th behind all LMPCs. And Scott Tucker qualified 22nd (!) in the #552, behind all the health GTEs... weird.

Falken looking really good for race day!! A little disappointed by the Vettes, but that might change for the race. Dyson looking quick. Unfortunate they're going to have to change tires.
It looks like we're gonna have an epic race tomorrow!

The LMPCs definitely have more torque than the LMP2s, and aren't down much on power either. They probably have less drag than the LMP2s as well, rather like the GTCs compared to the GTs. This being the case, on a street circuit with long straights out of slow corners, the LMPCs can pull very well, and there are few corners where the substantially greater downforce of the LMP2s can really serve them well.

Also, the Continentals on the LMPCs are faster than their previous tires.
