Slightly off thread, but can I just say that this has given me the best start to this week. If you are smiling and laughing (and groaning!) at around 7.30am on a Monday morning then the rest of the week can hold no worries.

Either that or show your "feminine side", ie you're doing it for the ladies!

Trust me. Those portaloos: you can get away with anything if it even slightly improves them. You could be a hero!

Probably right. But you do know that they've begun sending a honey truck to clean them at least once during the week? No additional toilet paper, though. Luxury, luxury!

They empty them, but they don't necessarily replenish the chemicals. Or, at least, they never used to.

We are, after all, talking about a nation that thinks two footprints and a hole surrounded by a small wall constitutes a public toilet!
