So last weekend the season kicked off with a triple-header at Aragon - Deletraz won the opening two races (definitely not a phrase you'd have heard 20 years or so ago ) with Dennis Olsen taking the third race in appalling conditions.
Race 1: 1. Louis Deletraz / 2. Ben Barnicoat / 3. Anthoine Hubert Race 2: 1. Louis Deletraz / 2. Kevin Jorg / 3. Dennis Olsen Race 3: 1. Dennis Olsen / 2. Anthoine Hubert / 3. Darius Oskoui Championship Standings: 1. Louis Deletraz (Josef Kaufmann Racing) 58 Pts 2. Dennis Olsen (Manor MP Motorsport) 48 3. Anthoine Hubert (Tech 1 Racing) 41 4. Kevin Jorg (Josef Kaufmann Racing) 34 5. Ben Barnicoat (Fortec Motorsports) 28 6. Matevos Issakyan (JD Motorsport) 26 Oh, and Martin Kodric had this pretty dramatic accident in race three, which he came away unscathed from! |

He'll be demoted to the back of the grid for the next race at Spa, according to Paddock Scout.

also according to the notice board on the timing site with the stewards decisions notices on, if you'd rather get the info direct from the horses mouth. his teammate barnicoat is also due to serve a grid drop penalty of 4 places at his next race after colliding with lasse sorensen.

As there is no dedicated FR3.5 season thread I thought I'd post this here.
Comtec Racing are returning to the series next weekend in Austria with current Eurocup FR2.0 championship leader Louis Deletraz. Great opportunity for a very talented young guy and good to see Comtec back too! http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/119802 |

And Jack Aitken fractured the 6th vertebrae in his back after his crash with Isaakyan in race two - looks like he could be in doubt for the Eurocup round in Austria this weekend.

I can confirm, he won't be there unfortunately... Similarly to the rest of the Eurocup field.
But yeah, he could be out for months, it's a shame for him. |

FR Eurocup won't be racing in Austria this weekend as the 3.5 are tied with elms for this weekend. Fingers crossed for a quick recovery.

Haha, I'm really getting my calendar's confused atm!!
What I meant to say is he's got to be a doubt for the next ALPS round, which is 18/19 July at Misano. |

So, there were three races at the Silverstone round at the weekend and three different race winners in Jack Aitken, Kevin Jorg and Anthoine Hubert. BRDC F4 championship leader Will Palmer also made his Eurocup debut, finishing in the points twice although as he was a guest driver he was ineligible for those points.
Championship leader Louis Delétraz had a very average weekend with 9th, 8th and 6th place finishes. And with three rounds and seven races left, the championship couldn't be much closer! 1. Louis Delétraz - 124pts 2. Kevin Jorg - 123 3. Jake Hughes - 116 4. Jack Aitken - 103 5. Anthoine Hubert - 99 |

After the weekend just gone, can't predict anything! I'm being biased but I'm gutted for Ben Barnicoat

Ben Barnicoat and Anthoine Hubert won the two races at Le Mans this weekend.
So, going into the final triple-header round at Jerez in three weeks time, the standings are incredibly close! 1. Louis Delétraz - 163pts =. Kevin Jorg - 163 3. Jack Aitken - 156 4. Anthoine Hubert - 148 5. Ben Barnicoat - 134 6. Jake Hughes - 132 With 75 points still up for grabs, I wouldn't like to pick a winner! |
