Very long unusual pit stop for the 356 during qualy.
Two french E Types with blown engine (Lajournade) and engine (Rivet-Fusil). The D Type goes well (de Selancy) knowing he's a newbie at LMC and has an unadapted gearing. |

I just noticed that you're not the fastest 356 of the batch. I guess you're using conventional brakes not the strange thing seen on Carreras. If you dont find what's wrong, who can? Wish you the best.

Did you notice that the kids race saw a massive jump start? What a poor example they gave to the eldest! No licence so, spanking anyone?
Now its time for those magnificent men in their flying machines, the plateau 1 gladiators. Go Talbots! |

Great 1-2 for the Talbots in race 1.... and a commentator mention for JR of this parish for his part of it.
Well done John. |

According to Alkamel results, so far so good. Forty first in their first race and thirtieth in the second beating several sports racers.

Would be the Le Mans Index of Performance ? Ignore what I said about the timetable, race start times don't seem to be following the timetable printed on the Alkamel website.

Badly damaged at the exit of the first chicane, front and rear are not good looking.
Shame for the Talbot boys, two wins and one fourth place give 29 th overall? There's something wrong I guess. |

In the straight the 356 was faster (c 220 kph) than many others including SWB Ferraris!
