Yes. That's the one cybersdorf. Have you noticed the the damage to the other blue and white Capri(no.176).
Apparantly thr wall jumped out in front of him at Adenau Bridge. Did anyone see it as Barry the driver at the time was talking jibberish after it happened, I'm not surprised after seeing what that section was like on Friday evening. After a few pieces of tank tape were applied he rejoined and managed to finish the race 3rd in class. Last edited by Shawn; 5 Jun 2002 at 08:36. |

Most definatly. Nothing else would be quite the same. It's a pity that the original engine that was fitted blew itself up as this was the better of the two.
When the engine was being changed Rod the driver did an excellent job of convincing a couple of journalists that the 'qualifying engine ' was being removed to be replaced by the 'race engine'. What a gulibble lot they are. Last edited by Shawn; 5 Jun 2002 at 11:54. |

You call a torn crude 3 Liter lump a 'qualifying engine'. Wow, I have a 'qualifying engine' at home, too. However, you did a great job in changing it that quickly.

As for the Capri in next years 24 hour, excellent thought but it had enough trouble trying to last 4 hours in the Youngtimer. Perhaps we will to speak nicely to the Dave the car owner. Even better perhaps Rod could by a cheap Viper. But some how I think I know what the answers will be. |

Shawn, how much power does the 'qualifying engine' have ? I just ask to know what the Ford 3L is capable to achieve.

Would be nice. The engine is from a TVR 3000M in lego form which I just have to clean and put together again. I hope to have it done before LM 2003 but it will be getting tight. I want to know what's possible from those lumbs. The engine is so heavy and at 140 hp in basic form not very performant. I wonder why they put it in so many cars at that time. Oh, mine is loosing oil, lots of oil.
