Now that the Posties are back at work
1. Find stiff envelope - correct size 2. Insert photo 3. Seal envelope 4. Address envelope 5. Write on envelope "Photographs Do Not Bend" 6. Moisten and affix first class stamp to envelope n.b. skip moistening if you have those new fangled self adhesive stamps 7. Insert completed item in slot in tall orangy / red thing {not a marshal} 8. Wait for thank you post on TT 8a.{See 5}. There is a 50% chance that some berk in the Royal Mail will have written "Oh yes they do" on the envelope |

Cant think of the connection you are on about though , it was only used at the back of the grid circa 86/87

Nothing to do with the car, but I remember
smuggling Hugo Spowers into the Festival some years ago.He had his leg in plaster as a result of his other 'job'. I believe he was a founder member of the Dangerous Sports Club, What happened to them,I seem to remember they lost their credibility the same time as Noel Edmunds lost his. |

Didnt Spowers have something to do with F3 after that? maybe thru Bowman?

That a great and somewhat eclectic entry for sure! Several drivers with F3 experience in there. And you have to admire Joey Foster for putting himself in there to be shot down, considering he just won the festival! I cant remember if that 89ff Reynard has rocker suspension all round but he's going to need it for sure with all the wheel bashing that will no doubt ensue as people strive to beat the World FF Champ. In fact looking at the entry it could come down to a battle of the Festival winners with Gavin (94 Kent festival winner) in there also.
Please someone give us a race report sunday evening... I'm away sailing this weekend so cant make it, and I'm gutted! |

Spowers tried running an ex-Bowman F3 car - they ran at Donny in testing and Tommy Erdos stuffed it into the wall before Mcleans and broke his leg (missed the rest of that season) and that was the end of that....the FF was slower than a FFirst at the time...

As I will be there doing not a whole lot (not working for Autosport or MN - they wanted me to go to Snett so I made my priorities clear) I will gladly do an 'official' TT Walter Hayes report!

Hutch is struggling a lot. Got a call earlier. 1.5 seconds off the pace. Had a rear hub go early doors and as I have said all season my car has massive under steer!!! They have changed the set up after a quick call to Kevin Mills. Hutch can't understand how I have driven it with that much under steer!!! Let hope he sets it up well for me!!
Keep the times coming Jason |
