Boys, you have disappointed me. From the title I assumed that Justin had posted a full colour glossy calendar showing pictures of you all with your cars!
See you around the circuits. Don't forget to come and say hello - for those of you who don't already know me I'm the one with the broomstick! Sheila |

As some of you are aware, our first race meeting is Silverstone 20/21st March. This may be on the Saturday 20th March, awaiting official confirmation.
Look forward to a good championship with some new and old faces returning to the championship. As the sponsors, Daly Systems are looking to support driver entry fees where possible, please PM me with an address to send our press pack through to you. Just to gauge numbers, how many of you are looking at a serious attempt at the KoK's? (ie. SoM, CC, NW, BH and then the Silverstone international, CC and Brands) |

Just to point out, to have a 'serious attempt' at KoK you don't need to do all of these.
You count your best eight scores from the races Peter lists above, but no more than three from one region. So you could do (for example) a season of SOM races (or just three), a couple in the NW for example, and the three 'one-off' events. Or you could do just a couple in each. |

Planning all Som, 4 CoBrands, Double header at Combe (maybe) and double header at Anglesey plus maybe one at Oulton. As most tracks apart from Mallory and Silverstone will be new to me I'm not expecting to do overly well in some/most of these travelling races.
Mattray - you going to 'interlope' to SoM then? |

Please be aware that the SoM now starts at Silverstone on Saturday March 20th, and not Sunday March 21st as originally announced.
The BRDC Marshals' Club Raceday is now a one day meeting (it was originally scheduled to be two days). A provisional timetable will be available on Friday on www.brdc.co.uk |

Just to go back to what I was saying about King of Kents and how many races you need to do - I've just re-read the regs and the wording is a bit ambiguous. So you may need to do eight regional races PLUS the three KOK one-off events.
As it stands the wording is wishy-washy and you could argue a case either way... |

I believe that the KoK is for 8 reg races, max of three per region and then the three stand alone at neutral stand alone races/tracks. The original idea, get people to travel to other tracks and fill the grids, race on more circuits, get the best drivers to compete all over. The KoK champion should be the best overall driver of the year who has raced at several venues, beaten the rest and deserves the title. It is in it's infancy, changes look like they need to be made as it evolves; Let's hope. |

Justin - I know this isn;t anything to do with SoM - but you were asking about Airfield you can run FFs on...I spoke with Bruntingthorp yesterday - you can use their track at £50/hour or £250/fullday...there run 7 days/week..I am going to have a run around there to shakedown the RF03 in the next few weekends. Let me know if you fancy joining in...does anyone have an idea on gearing....??

JNW, I wouldn't bother about gearing for Bruntingthorpe, there's a 2 mile long runway if you need it. So keep whatever cogs you have in, and just lift off when the revs become excessive in 4th. You may need to raise the ride height, the surface is not as good as a circuit. Don't hit any parked planes, or new cars !!!
