Sure was, I was flagging and berating Mark Ch about his appalling choice of snacks. It was him that was the magnet, did you notice that wherever he moved on post the carnage followed him.
You did well that day as it was bleeding busy!!! |

What's really scary is when you're watching a race on tv and you open a pork pie, and it still works...
Yes, I have managed that trick! |

A combination of pork pies, scotch eggs and tracker bars worked well at Silverstone today

Forget pork pies, I'm finding that cheese is the new pork pie!!!!!
Helping at a sprint yesterday, a few cones, tyres etc already been molested by various drivers. We are ahead of time and have just started the finals run for the day. "I know" I thought, lets finish off my lunch, look in bag and find some cheese. I open the wrapper and take a bite. First car through promptly hits the tyres, fies into the air and lands on the next tyre wall!! All four wheels off the ground, and minus both bumpers. Takes 15 mins to sort car out and rebuild tyres. Plus it started to run!! Oh well, it was a good day overall. Just make a note too myself. "stop eating food, when cars on track" |

Just remembered I'm helping at BARC sprint at Lotus next Sunday, if you see me trying to eat any food when there are cars on the track. Please stop me, or take cover!!!

obviously the most impressive effect even more so than a pork pie, is a certain Mr Bloxham on post with you. He has graced the scene a few times now, once at Brands for the FBMW race 2, and this weekend at silverstone as soon as he appeared we had a spin, alas the rest of the day was reasonably quite i still find him to be the biggest magnet of all, and also what a reputation.

Tried eating a Pork Pie whilst watching the practice at Indianapolis on t'internet last night, but it didn't work. Wonder if the time difference had any effect? Maybe if I eat one now, they might get action is six hours time????

As I'm off to Donington this weekend, I shall have to attempt the experiment that I never made at Brands Hatch.

It is not just spins and crashes that Mr Bloxham attracts, he has told me that he has turned up on post only to have a flag marshals complete set of flags leaning upright against the barrier, promptly fall over.
He has also walked into a garage where a person was sitting on a plastic garden chair, to have the one of the chair legs break! This is someone Mulder & Scully should be investigating |
