JLD - I have checked the availability form that you returned to me earlier this year, and I can confirm that you ticked your availability for Saturday 25th. September at Brands Hatch.

if it seems like PP is driving like an old man, that'll be my stint then :-) but if there's a rookie in a Jag like last year I am not going to be so polite this time.

I will definitely be seeing MGDavid and Penelope on Sunday - I am collecting some tyres off David for my mate! Nice to be able to say I know who I'm looking for!

Will do Tim, I'm there both days so will try to pop to the paddock if we get a lunch break and say hi.

Stephen -
There is no "IF" with regards to a lunch break. The MG car Club guarantee that you will get a minimum of 30 minutes, plus time to get on and off post. So you will have plenty of time to collect your Donuts, less my commission of 30%! I am setting off for Brands within the next couple of hours so will be 'off line' Any additional volunteers, (who will be most welcome), can contact me by phone and I will leave the passes on the gate. John Watson - MG Car Club Chief Marshal |

Thanks to John Watson, of course the drivers and teams and all those associated with the organisation at the circuit for a great weekend. After my last comments regarding camping faciliies within the circuit I am pleased to say all is well and a great improvement. Thank You

It might be a nice gesture to drop JP a note to that effect?

A very big and sincere thank you from myself and the MG Car Club Competition Department to all the Marshals and Officials for their help and co-operation in ensuring that we all had a most enjoyable and successful Race Meeting, and every single one of you was responsible for that.
Although it may be a little unfair to single anyone out for extra special thanks, I must thank Peter Scillitoe and Barry Morris for their help and co-operation in running such a slick meeting. The atmosphere and comaraderie amongst all the workers for the whole weekend was fantastic, and I am most grateful for the way everyone made us feel most welcome. It seemed that Brands was our 'Home' Circuit. I am sorry if I did not manage to visit every Marshal out on post over the weekend to personally thank them for donating their expertise to our Club, but I did my best to speak to just about everybody. I think that we should also thank and congratulate all the Competitors, and there were loads of them, for providing us with some very exciting and competeive racing. In fact we all had a fantastic weekend, and be sure that we will be back next year for a repeat performance. But without the dampness on the Saturday. Once again thank you, John Watson - MG Car Club Chief Marshal |

Many thanks to all the marshals who have supported MGCC this year. We could not go racing without you! Oh and sorry about the two red flags in the Total Butler race at Brands. We are usually so well behaved! Hopefully see you all again next season.
