Goodyear was been trying to get back into F1 since 2001. FACT!
But without a contract with a top team, whats the point. They tried to team up with Mclaren at the end of 2001 and develop a tyre for 2003/2004, but Mclaren went to Michelin....And Michelin are ofcourse KAK! |

Imagine if testing were to be limited (by venue rather than time), and there were numerous tyre manufacturers... Of course with increased competition between tyre manufacturers the FIA has a responsibility on safety grounds to reduce the loads being transferred through the tyres during cornering. Removing the downforce would easily solve that. And, a refuelling ban was in my dream too. |
