Yes, lets.
2nd BAR drive, Coulthard or Davidson, no-one else is in the running, in my opinion. |

Don't rule anyone out KB, this is the silliest and wildest of years.

Heidfeld would be OK (about same as DC IMO) but I feel it will go to a Brit instead, so I'd rather Davidson even if he's not the PR hero DC is.

What about Richard Lions who races in Formula Nippon.
Infact there is alot of good british drivers climbing the ranks. Last edited by luke; 19 Sep 2004 at 19:39. |

There are, but if they were going to go with a "less experienced" driver - they'd go with Davidson before any of them.

Yea, it'd be either Davidson or Coulthard I think - Heidfeld doesn't have the experience and marketability of DC or the youth and potential pace of Ant - and, the team would surely prefer a British driver.

From my personal point of view I see it as in 1994 with Mansell driving for Willimas and DC taking over.
Mansell's carrer was starting to end when DC was starting and I see it now as DC's is ending and Davidson's is begining. |

DC's only in his early to mid thirties, luke - Mansell was forty-one in 1994.

Yeah but DC is uncompetitive now.

DC is a reliable points scorer, but more of a Barrichello than a Schumi in terms of talent.
He's never really been more than a reliable no. 2 (unfortunatly). |

Like your style Luke!...has there ever been a driver more tested and up to speed who hasn't been given a break? ADs the quickest 'Man Friday' and often the quickest Michelin man too...with the exception of Wirdheim, ADs the only 'Fri-guy' not to have had a chance to race his car this year!
