he could ahve gone over this year and ridden for the D'Antin team, but as we have seen in the past I dont think that team can really run a top level operation despite doing so in teh 500 days.

Plus I think at the time they werent confirmed as using Bridgeys so for JT it was a no brainer to stay and win rather than do an Ellison and have an awful year.

I think if HOda are taking an interest its better to stay with them, remember he was their golden boy when was given the SS600 chance alongside Paquay all those years ago.
The Japanese remember things like that, but I guess they also remember that he stopped riding for Birdy on a basic VTR to ride in WSB on a Duke!!
