Such a shame the V12 was removed from the Ferrari.

Yes, as the announcers told us: keeping that Ferrari engine inthere would have been too costly because of the typical Ferrari licensing systems. Only one company in the world is allowed to service those engines and they are simply very expensive to work with. So a Judd V10 it is.

Track action:

Jos Verstappen in Frits' Tyrrell, he did some fast laps:

Since his car failed on him for race 2, Marijn got to do some laps after the Red Bull demo's. I think his car looks way better with the dark rims:

Speaking of demo's...i just loved it:

Back to BOSS GP:

Poor poor poor Arnold, the Arrows stopped during the warm up lap:

Who went to Austria for this weekend's race at the rebuild Red Bull Ring? I seriously thought of driving towards the track from Holland, but chose not to and went to Spa for the latest F1 machinery:

Any news or updates from Austria?

Mr Zwart dominated at Monza last weekend more here; http://www.bossgp.com/
Other bit of news; sometime Boss racer Dan Daly suffered a huge accident in his Reynard at Mondello Park a week or so ago whilst competing in a Libre race. I hear he is ok let's hope to see him back soon.

Just a heads up, I noticed Motors TV are showing the Zandvoort round in an hour show from today (21:30 UK)... as usual many repeats.

Motors do their best to confuse as usual.

The online TV guide shows it from 21:30 to 22:35.

Sky's EPG shows it from 21:30 to 22:05, with "Inside Racing" following at 22:05.

I would guess Sky's EPG is right here and it's a 30 minute programme.

And in the end it wasn't even on, found the slot was filled by one of their crash compilations. I'll keep an eye out on the later slots to see if this is shown.

I would not hold out much hope-they showed a trailer with clip of Donington about an hour before scheduled time! No explanation offered.Eurosport also showing a different edition of 'Inside Racing' to Motors which is just a Dunlop ad anyway.May have missed this on Eurosport before as at least in the general media here 'racing' means HORSE racing.

That's what gets me with Eurosport and Motors, this kind of thing happens all the time with them and yet there's never any attempt to inform the viewers WHY scheduled programmes are cancelled, running late etc.

It finally turned up this afternoon.Switched over from C5 after CSI Miami CART episode-seen that before but its fun if crazy! Caption appeared 'BOSS Zandvoot continues,so not sure if it started early and I missed some introduction.Looked great what they showed-certainly the biggest crowd I have seen at Zandvoot since F1GP days?
Next showing scheduled for 0.40amBST.

The crowd was quite big, but not so big as 1995/1996 with the Masters.

I recorded it too... the caption confused me, but it seems they'd just put it onscreen at the start of the show by mistake. Glad there was coverage of this one, with Coronel, Lammers etc there.

I was there as my son was racing in Formula Ford. It was a great event and as last year a very sizable crowd. Good to see these cars at Zandvoort again.

As for Motors TV it's a continuous source of annoyance particularly when you have set something to record on the digibox and because it has started out of it's slot either beginning earlier or later you end with half the programme missing or worse.

Last Saturday Motors were running behind because of the live broadcast for F2etc from Monza and yet they continued to keep repeating trailers etc for forthcoming programmed in the commercial breaks instead of clawing back this time to help them catch up

I usually set the recording manually (entering in the times) on Sky+, and allow 10 minutes before the start time and 5-10 minutes after the scheduled end. It seems their programmes ALWAYS start earlier than scheduled. Of course if it's live racing, or a programme following a live event, I'm even more generous with the extra time I allow. Still often get caught out by their erratic scheduling!

Eurosport frequently do exactly the same thing... just doesn't make sense! Is it a French TV thing?

BossGP & Rennwerk

Hi!
Just found this forum and I am happy to find so many people interested in the BossGP cars and races.
As a company we have re-built and are operating the Arrows A22 car from Arnold Wagner in the BossGP series.

I thought that the latest video on the Monza race weekend might be interesting for you:

www.youtube.com/rennwerk

This is our youtube channel and you will find a lot of related F1 and BossGP videos there.

Have fun!

I had a mail from Boss HQ. There are no further Motors TV programs to come. Abba Kogan is looking at purchasing a late GP2 car to replace the Tyrrell.

Interesting.
If somebody is interested - we would have access to a Cosworth DFR engine.
