Dear god, are we arguing math without having any actual details to even attempt to calculate anything? And then arguing who's guesses are best? Even for the internet this seems like a pointless argument and waste of electrons on their busy voyage through the world

Pretty much.
52 minutes. 1 hour. 90l. 110l. 964MJ. 34.2MJ/l. 35%. 600hp. 700hp. 8000rpm. 7000rpm. The numbers don’t add up! It’s B! I just wanted to assume that Toyota had built a suitable car for the regulations. Still it was kind of fun. |

Me too. The balance was pretty good overall between the Toyota and Alpine at Spa. Hopefully the Glickenhaus slots into that window too. And the fuel tank size situation could result in lots of strategy overlap through the race.

Toyota will lose performance for the next round. I'm sure this will make everyone happy.

So slightly less power, more weight and less energy per stint.
Similar for Alpine, although the energy change is so small it won’t bring it down to their fuel tank size so that bit probably doesn’t matter for them. |

Not understanding the negative bop hit for Alpine, honestly.

Unless FIA and ACO had data about 007 performances after the endurance test, I don't understand why they gave extra 26kg to toyotas, considering GR010 should already be close to 1200kg in race trim considering driver min. 80kg and fuel, oil etc.
Toyota #8 won spa race with a reasonable 67s gap from alpine, with most of that time given mainly by alpine extra pit stop (even if alpine had shorter refuels though). |

Comparison of the three LMH cars.

They were pretty evenly matched at Spa so it makes sense whatever adjustment is made happens to both. |

I am sooo looking forward to LeMans this year; the two Glickenhaus cars will really open the race up. And it's only going to get better the next several years
