He's has publicly and repeatedly stated he's not interested in GTD/GT3 and wants to focus on P2 for 2024. That leaves IMSA + Le Mans as the obvious targets as WEC will no longer have P2 competing starting next season.
He'll be the most wanted bronze P2 driver on the globe! |

Yeah, have to wonder who gets his services for P2 in IMSA or does he try to get in with a 963 privateer.

Plenty of opportunities with P2 teams coming up, and races in IMSA, ELMS, and AsiaLMS, it should make quite the marketplace for drivers with similar skillsets.

Latest episode of WEC Full Access was posted on youtube detailing the Monza race. Good as they have been all year:

I would think Ben would have plenty of teams wanting him in ELMS and IMSA, obviously already drives IMSA
Would not be shocked actually to see him in a private LMDh or GTP in the end |

Not sure about GTP, but in the WEC in LMH/LMDH you need a waiver to compete as a bronze driver, as typically they're not allowed in that class.

An interesting addition to the Carguy Ferrari for Fuji.
'Miyata currently drives for Toyota Gazoo Racing and TOM’s in the Autobacs SUPER GT Series GT500 class, where he is currently second in the standings' 'He is also driving for Toyota and TOM’s in the Super Formula Championship, where he leads the championship' 'Miyata won back-to-back FIA F4 Japanese Championships in 2016 and 2017, won the Super Formula Lights championship (formerly All-Japan F3) in 2020, and was a race winner in SUPER GT’s GT300 class' https://www.dailysportscar.com/2023/...-of-serra.html |

Super Formula leader. GT500 second. Toyota connection. Just about to get WEC experience.
I got a bit of Fuji experience in. My kid and I did an endurance race at Fuji over the weekend. He thought 6 hours was too short so we did 18! We did it in a TS050 as it was their home race. Normally we race in a 919 and it took some getting used to it - no exhaust recovery was annoying. It rained on and off - some tricky puddles remained even after it dried. Especially in the pit lane. Also the race is quite interesting if you replace the LMP2 class with LMP900! We’re ready for WEC there. |

Fall and winter are the rainy season in Japan (NASCAR when they raced at Suzuka brought rain tires both times in the late '90s). It doesn't help that Fuji's track drainage isn't great, which is made a lot worse due to the track being near a mountain range.

After Ferrari topped a wet opening practice, Toyota comes back in FP2 just ahead of the Jota Porsche:

Will be interesting to watch how the track limits are enforced. Seeing how many lap times have been delayed for numerous cars, they all are testing the RC it seems…

Track limits has been an interesting "discussion" with some folks, especially F1 fans. It appears that football, and for some tennis, video in and out decisions are ok and fine to enforce the rules. But then come racetracks it's well that's interfering with the race and the flow. I think drive thrus for second violation for a couple races would clear that up REAL quick

I woke up to see qualifying results, and was surprised by the separation here with Peugeot. Good to see the portion and Cadillac contingents higher on the charts, will have to see how that plays out with race conditions.

I wonder how they can explain the gap between the two Pugs.
