...indeed, and it would lead to manufacturer backed teams disappearing entirely I should think.
Mr Gow ain't daft, no doubts in my mind they are working on it. |

I think Cicely will have the new A Class Saloon/CLA. More slippery than the hatch back, but similar dimensions to the Focus which was proven to work well this year. Plus the CLA looks great!
They could even badge it as a 250e to try and attract some support from Mercedes UK |

I've heard from a very reliable source that Ciceley are 100% going with an existing car purchased from the team that builds them.
I've also heard from another very reliable source that they are 100% building their own brand new model from the manufacturer they currently have ties to... Guess we'll find out in a couple of hours 😂 |

So it's a BMW 3-Series for Ciceley from 2021.
Morgan continues - looking for a new teammate. |

Well, it's a bit of a shame to be down another brand but a good move for them. A very desirable seat on offer alongside Morgan.

Sooo - place a bet on Cammish to win the 2021 title? Mr Gow will want to stem the tide of RWD cars so what better way than to have a FWD title winner next season.
The other question is - will the Ciceley cars be new builds or will WSR run new builds and give Ciceley the older cars? |

The article says:
'The deal was concluded to purchase two new cars from multiple championship-winning squad WSR' Although you could be pedantic and say any BMW would be new to Ciceley... |

no way Lord Gow will not slap some (more) RWD penalty now, the past 4 titles were RWD and now they increase on the grid

He has a contract to drive for Team Dynamics in 2021. Honda are backing the team as a manufacturer entry. Andy Randall – Managing Director of Halfords Autocentres finished by saying “We are thrilled that Dan has signed for Halfords Yuasa Racing for another two years Halfords, Yuasa and Honda have all described him as driving for them. It's just how backing a team in the btcc works..... |

I guess you have to factor in the driving performance of Turkington and Sutton. I mean look at Moffat and Oliphant, both are in RWD machinery and are very credible drivers, yet are often 10+ places behind their respective team leaders. Again look at Jelly and Boardley, both ran RWD, yet they aren't really at the front.

Yeah, both Turkington and Sutton did a very good job this season. However I don’t think Oliphant was that far back, he’s steadily improving. Moffat seems to be in the midfield. Jelley was a bit too up and down, while Boardley did ok I thought

HARD. have announced that their first driver for 2021 has signed.
The accompanying image shows someone wearing a casio watch - which has resulted in the inevitable speculation that it is TOC who has signed. |
