Driving teams for the R18 program to be announced at a later date per Audi Sport Twitter and Audi Motorsport press release.

Apart from the lights, what have we actually learnt from this announcement?

Audi kind of blew all their exclusives with the PR shots last week. At least we have confirmation of three cars at Le Mans - not that that's a surprise.

Looks substantially different from last year´s R18, why haven´t they labelled it with a higher number - or R18+ at least?

Even the new Audi Sport HQ deal isn't that new--Audi announced the ground-breaking of it around the time of the Shanghai WEC round. The new facility will be the main HQ for Audi Sport, and the facility is just a few minutes drive from Inglostadt.

I'm still wondering whether this is the final livery. It's black, so it is cool, but other than that, there is not much design going on. Very rudimentary even by Audi's standards (yak: R15+).

Oh for Christ's sake, such an Audi fan as I am, I can't stand their ridiculous PR strategy. It's like bombarding a place for a year but only one bomber is sent everyday. No one is robbing audience from you guys! I want more than being flirted for 24 secs every day....
