Indycar is having a race in Boston next year on Labor Day weekend. I know most teams don't want to add another race, but does anyone think TUSCC would take up a chance there?

Well that is for IMSA to decide. I recall at Laguna Seca in 1997 when they did split races. The all GT race was last and was treated as the main show effectively. That was a great one too. Featuring the Panoz GTR vs the Porsche GT1 vs the Lister Storm

Race protos on Saturday and race GT on Sunday. Except on enduros. And street courses too since they can only hold so many cars from the different series.
Boston could be ok, but I can't get the horror that was Baltimore out of my head. I think IMSA needs Barber, Mid-Ohio and Portland back more though. |

S365 has an updated story on Bentley proto saying that if they build it, it will be on a P2 chassis and with their own body and engine. Plus would be full factory program

sound a bit like a sort of oreca-bentley or oak-bentley as was the lola-aston martin 4 years ago. Anyway it would be great if this will become real

Well it'll be a new regs P2 built by them with Bentley styling cues and have the engine from the GT3 Conti.

As P1 won't be a reality, Bentley going to P2 is the best situation. That big v8 turbo engine will be something like the Sauber-Mercedes group-c engine, fat and revving low.

Glad that Bentley will make a P2 car with their styling cues and their Continental GT3 engine instead of *gasp* old-fashioned tube-frame DP car!
Still, it'll be weird having a small cockpit in contrast to its tentative Bentley Continental body. |

This news sounds great. Acura, Corvette, Mazda and Bentley will make a P2 car with their styling cues and their engine look fantastic for me.
