If Boost lob at the Sydney team, they've basically taken the proverbial by threatening to walk if there is no control upright introduced, especially from GRM.

GRM would have a right to feel aggrieved by this.

Stone has previously spoken of a desire to have an experienced driver in one entry and run a second as a ‘young gun’ car,
James Courtney 2006 – 2008 Courtney broke through for his first race win in the series at the team's test track, looking at all drivers that have worked with stone racing Courtney isw the only one out of contract Courtney to msr |

Including photos at the 'announcement'.
Somewhere in all these empty seats I think the Kosteckis will land. Maybe in a drive share arrangement. |

Would make sense. Do the boys have an east coast base? Gives someone like MSR scale, own pit boom, amortised costs. Same sort of kit.

They're working out of a factory on the Gold Coast.
Has been the case for the past few seasons. |

I wonder if anyone has the budget to lure Jenson Button down here for a season or two? He's looking for fresh opportunities preferably in a series that isn't with a co-driver.

Listening to an interview with him on On the Grid podcast, the Supercars series kinda ticks every box he's looking for. And Ryan Walkinshaw did say they are looking OS for a second driver...

Richie Stanaway has shown he'd need at least 2 seasons in the development series first...

Smith Ready To Step Up To Main Game
Maybe he should look at his lap times at Bathurst & Gold Coast relative to his teammate... |

Motorsport is all about money so I don't have any problem with the money thing, we would all do the same if we were in the position to do it.. But I reckon he should do some more time in Super 2. Place the REC they've bought with BJR and lock Jack in as co driver and do selected VSC rounds if they allow the shared driver option. Put an experienced guy in for the rest of the rounds to mentor him.

I don’t think anyone has a problem with someone bringing money to a team these days as it’s becoming more common place due to the series failing to address key problems but it’s clear that he needs more seat time in Super 2 before stepping up to the main game.
Most people I chatted to whilst watching the enduros expressed sympathy for Hazelwood being partnered with him. |
