That third manufacturer being BMW is minimum doubtfull, i don't see a V8 in a Z4 running the wec, unless that was an M3.

This isn't speculation but i feel this is the best place for this information.
Bentley had been interested in going GTE rather than GT3 but didnt because the costs of developing the car and selling homologation specials pushed the costs up into Audi prototype levels. I was surprised at the level of costs involved in developing and getting homologated a GTE car. The information comes from Racetech magazine November issue which has an article on Bentleys GT3. |

New manufacturer wouldn't be McLaren, they will start developing the MP4-12C and maybe a race or two, by the end of 2013, but no way a full season.

If they don't want to do P1 then new regs GTE makes most sense for Jaguar.
They have to be racing at Le Mans in my opinion. |
