Right, this might be a bit too easy ................

In F5000 in the Mid 70s as well as the maximum capacity of 5000cc there was a MINIMUM capacity for the engines, what was it?

I've two potential answers to this question.

Formula A [aka F5000] was originally established in the US to mirror Formula One running 3.0 litre racing engines. When take up was poor the SCCA decided to open up the regs to include 5.0 litre stock motors. This would mean that the minimum capacity for the class was 3000cc.

The US F5000 rules were adopted for the UK/Europe when the class began to gain traction this side of the pond. However the mid-1970s energy crisis and the weak pound created difficulties importing the ubiquitous 5.0 Chevy which was the class mainstay. In order to address this problem, the UK/Euro regs were changed to allow DOHC semi-race motors of a minimum capacity of 3.5 litres. The only motor I'm aware of that was used at that level was the 3.4 litre Ford GAA V6 from the Capri bored out to 3.5 litres. This would mean that the minimum capacity for the class was 3500cc.

Not sure if either of these is the answer... or if its something else.

Sorry to say neither answer is correct!

Just to be ensure there is no confusion I am referring to the British F5000 Championship regulations (these may well have been the same as applied in Europe).

I don't think there was a minimum for stock blocks, especially as it quickly became clear that anything less than 5 litres was a waste of time. But IIRC there was a minimum for racing engines, which were allowed up to 3 litres - 2.75 litres rings a vague bell and would explain why - IIRC - nobody ever ran a Climax FPF in F5000.

Close enough!

The actual Blue Book wording is as follows:

Engines
(a) Minimum capacity 2750 c.c. maximum capacity 5000cc
(b) All engines must be from a car currently or previously homologated in Group 1 or 2.

So it is over to you Vitesse.

Looks like I was getting confused with the US regs, which did allow pure racing engines! But where I dredged up 2.75 litres from I have no idea!

Possibly an easy one ....

What distinction is shared by Mike Hawthorn and Keke Rosberg?

Try this one - is this the first photo in the quiz?

Poor quality I'm afraid (who remembers Instamatics). This car was left at the the end of a meeting waiting to be collected, the sun was going down etc, etc.

The circuit is obviously hard, but it's situated between Silverstone and Brands.

Plenty of clues, although driver may be difficult.

I'll try to set the ball rolling with a new question, any objections? If so please ignore!

Tony Brooks' Grand Prix ended abruptly when his car ended upside down and burning.
What year? What car? Which circuit? What caused the incident? Who won the race? Who had the fastest lap?
