As I said in the 918 thread I can see them racing a 918 but not in that spec, Audi, Mercedes and BMW would not be amused.

The 911 Hybrid raced last year, add some restrictors and weight penalties and you have another one with the shape of the 918, I don't see the big deal.

So does that basically mean no more Peter Dumbreck in the team for the Nurburgring?

Falken Japan doesn't have its own team.
So the satellite team of Nissan(Team MOLA) had managed the team until last year. Kazuki Hoshino(09-10 driber) is a Nissan driver. Therefore, it is interesting whether Falken changes the management team and the driver line-up. |

Seems like the rumors of an Über-Golf were true:
440bhp, 540NM, permanent AWD (and a busload of rain-dancers...) |

Golf24 article by Car Magazine
The engine is the 5cyl 2.5L unit from the TT-RS and RS3. I still don't understand why keep the Golf 3dr and the Scirocco co-existing. |

The Scirocco is style over substance, whereas even a 3 door Golf is very practical in everyday usage. Sure it is a bit of a pain to climb into the back, but the rear seats are perfectly decent for medium-sized adults...

some company felt hurt by comments on a forum so they sue the forum owner?
I don't know the extent of the topic, although it seems it relates to an article in a newspaper. If the newspaper was sued for whatever it stated, that may or may not be derrogative, or whatnot, how come the forum is being punished for linking to it? Were they informed about the illegality of the article? A bit too vague to understand the issue. Plus it seems it was a German-language forum (from the comments on Facebook). Could have something to do with the huge mess that is the future of the Nurburgring? |

Veering off topic, but a good reminder for us all to consider what is posted on a forum.
Internet law always will be murky, but as an analogy, if a newspaper prints something libelous then sure they can be sued, but also the printing company (and in some cases the individual employee who did the printing). (British law of course, but libel cases do not respect national bounderies) |

Sorry if this has been asked but I didn't fancy reading through 45 pages of posts.
I'll be attending this event for the first time this summer; can someone tell me whereabouts on the circuit the different groups start from? Thanks |

no direct experience but could be same as EifelRennen, 3 groups of 60+ do green flag lap at 2 minute intervals and rolling start in usual place
