Kris Richard replaces Guerrieri in Motegi - Guerrieri likely replaces Monteiro.

Honda excluded from China results due to non-compliant fuel injectors It's funny how they always catch Honda, and never Citroen and Volvo. |

It seems that Honda has a very bad luck in the WTCC. Ok they made some mistake with the homologation process, but the accident of Monteiro was very unlucky for their championship campaign.

This isn't bad luck, just another example of JAS & Honda lacking the edge they need for a championship.

Well it seems Monteiro didn't really miss much. It's a controversy the series could do without ATM

Congrats to Norbi, he was the best driver this weekend. Congrats to Guerrieri too, he clearlya top driver.
I hope Volvo will play fair in the next 2 rounds, but I'm not sure about it. This weekent all the 3 Volvos drive into a factory Honda - and the succesfully spin out their main championship rival. We saw some dirty team work in the touring car sport earlier, I don't want to see that again in the next 2 rounds. |

I doubt it very much Volvo deliberately played naughtily and the two clear incidents received penalties.

Huff drives slowly in Japan, helps lower the Citroen weight for Macau, where he will take pole and dominate race 2, provided no race 1 crash going for two victories.

Negotiations ongoing between the FIA and WSC over use of TCR regulations and the merging of the two series:
https://www.touringcars.net/2017/11/...cr-regulations It sounds like the FIA are OK in principle. Last edited by Andrew Abbott; 17 Nov 2017 at 09:41. |
