So you are allowed to double stint drivers, but you do have to pit every 65 minutes maximum. Odd rule but does mean double stinting drivers is possible despite what was said earlier.

Otherwise you would have to drive every 3 hours and there would be almost no time to rest, that couldn't be right.

Yeah I thought that too. But Haven has been banging on about 65 min maximum driver time since the start of the race.

I feel like some of the things said on the RLM feed were not rooted in reality. I tried it but am sticking to the BES feed now...

Estre exits the pits and gets tagged by a pro-am Ferrari coming over Radillon.

Big smash, both drivers should be shaken but ok.

Edit - A lack of awareness all round, both cars were moving towards each other (on the racing line( without seeing the other car.

Bit late from Mercedes, but it might be just to save face.

I've moved to the Dailymotion stream. A little behind the BES Youtube stream (which is a minute ahead of the Nismo stream) but much more stable so far.

Estre was ahead of the Ferrari as he exited the pits. So he probably never seen it at all. However the Ferrari does have sight of the Porsche as it's behind it.

I've been on the Dailymotion stream seems the beginning - got some buffering isues just before the Estre crash, but that seems to be solved now.

Watson blames Estre but how is he meant to even see them? He's joining the track at an angle with his mirrors pointing back at a tyre barrier. Even if he's told there's cars about he can't possibly see them.

It's hard to know until the timing shakes out but some of the Mercedes are now only 1 lap down and of course the field is bunched up.

Seeing as there are trucks on the track it's only right that the GT3s have to perform a hill start on Eau Rouge!
