I pre-ordered with sendit and have said its gone back to the end of the month.

someone on rsc said gameseek.co.uk have stock now. I cancelled the sendit order and bougt from gameseek on friday lunchtime, that evening recieved email saying it been shipped!

So they are available now!

Oh balls! Bit wary with ebay on new releases but would have probably have tried that one out mentioned above.

Cheers.

I'm not really willing to pay £10 extra just to get it a week or so early from Gameseek, kudos though if you can afford it!

Yeah well, I'm getting excited about this release and was annoyed with the date getting changed every week. A much as i'd like to save some money getting it cheaper at this moment i'd rather get hold of it quicker! Its only, what, 13 quid extra, the price of a cd!

Checked around town yesterday, couldn't find anything.

Also not confident that with all these different dates being listed, a one week wait is actually what it will be.

I'll risk the £10 extra for a possible two weeks early copy and save me some town hunting come Friday. Though I'm prepared for the wrong game to perhaps turn up.

It's #4 on their charts notice?!

In case anyone wants/needs a copy, segamano has more now in stock:

http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQfgtpZ1...QsassZsegamano

Trouble is, he's now stopped doing Buy-It-Now, and you have to bid for the items instead.

You aren't alone there Hazard.

I hear everyone who ordered from Gameseek hasn't received either.

Release date now seems to be 6th of October now at Gameplay.co.uk

shiny side up! should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Just picked it up on Friday here in the States, my first PC racing sim but it is brilliant! Very very difficult on 'simulation' with a gamepad... I have only driven free practice at Imola so far, but I was about 5 seconds adrift of the AI in my NGT Porsche...

In Europe, it's possible that the release date has been pushed back to the 6th of October. God knows why, but it's either a screw up on 10Tacle's side or Atari's.

I'm rather glad I got it from eBay when I did!

Gameseek have said that Royal Mail 'lost' two or more consignments of GTR2 amongst other games they were sending out. Many believe this is BS and they just didn't have the stock (and figured they would get some in before a storm was kicked up). They've been busy telling customers to make a claim with Royal Mail for lost items.

Yep, looks like I'm getting my £30 back because it's been lost in post..new stock will be available in October.

I'll remain suspicious.

This is getting pretty silly, we've waited through more than enough delays and its now trying to be covered up? what's going on? Lack of stock?

Maybe they decided to wait a few weeks to design this new cover

That's the cover designed for the US market, I seem to recall. Note "Viva Media" logo, and the fact that it's on CD ROM. All UK/Europe distributions are on DVD.

I'll be headed over to England mid October, perhaps I should purchase a bunch of copies here in the US for $20USD and sell them for £20 or £25 over there... Turn a little profit and still offer it for cheaper than the stores will!!!
