Didn't get to see qualifying. Would help if TSL/BARC actually bothered to upload the correct timetable.
Looking at the results of all the sessions so far, it's going to be a track limits-fest tomorrow. The times are very close though and Silverstone usually produces great racing, so it should be fun. |

Racing is due to start at 9am tomorrow, after today's delay.

Meanwhile, on the track, the entire grid are covered by less than a second; 0.886s actually. It could have been have been slightly more, but Goff's fastest times were disallowed for abusing track limits.
This seems to run counter to what at least one person believes; that the rear wheel drive cars, especially one driven by a past multiple BTCC champion, have a distinct advantage over their FWD competitors. Possibly, if they didn't have that advantage, more than 7 FWD cars would have qualified in front of the 1st BMW of Turkington. |

Wow, one second covers the whole field, shows the quality we have this season. Well done to Goff and quite a mixed grid should make for a good race.
So Cook is racing under appeal, because it appears he had a mechanical problem. Of course with it not being decided till the season is finished, this could make the title very provisional come the end, which is not what we need So Huff gets 45kg ballast. I always thought that was only for new entrants and now it seems it's for replacement drivers too. Weird |

Good to see that we can watch the remaining six races and enjoy the results (whatever they may be) as being decided on the track not in appeals courts. |

Huge crash for Collard, looks like Burns involved too with heavy damage... Could be 2 more cars written off?
Awful race for HARD, hopefully Epps can salvage a much needed good result... |

Very confusing finish. Safety car came in then we went to a sudden red flag.

Gotta say Ingram, Goff and Morgan drove like champions out there, I think they had 15 SECONDS on the rest of the field before the SC came out. Shoutout to Ant Whorton-Eales for his first top six finish. |

back in the 60 and 70s in F1 you had something like a FATAL accident almost every 2 years and they still continued racing |

then why don't you all advocate for the complete removal of the driver from the equation?
let the race cars race themselves since autonomous driving is such a theme this days cos otherwise 100% driver safety will never exist I am not fan of drivers getting injured but compared to the days when you can easly be killed guys like Dan Welch had a broken pelvis and similar stuff which is in no way in the fatal area |

I was actually going to defend your previous post, as I think continuing normal conversation when an accident has happened should happen, as we should not speculate on driver injuries (which happens too often). But then you went pretty low with that one. Poor show man.

I guess when an accident is about to happen, you do get ready and brace for the impact that you know you're about to have. Burns didn't get a chance to react, so I bet it hurts even more. Get well soon! |

Great, clean racing. So pleased for Goff!
Should be a good R3 with Newsham, Epps and Huff in the top 10 |

Really hope someone can get Rob Huff a decent BTCC ride for next year, that was an awesome drive. Reverse grid pole maybe?
