Hickey1 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
You making the trip John? We are staying at a golf hotel complex in Bruz, about 20 mins from the track. We fancied a round of golf on Friday afternoon before heading to the track early Saturday morning.

Cannot wait for this event. Got to be my most anticipated Rallycross event since my first attempt on track!!

The div 3 and 4 are still described as demonstration races and is open for upto 20 cars (no guarantee that many will turn up as they have to pay for the privilege), so not proper racing but I guess it helps to fill in the lengthy gaps.

Is anybody travelling to the circuit, other than by the Dover/Calais route? Was just wondering if anyone has found any reasonable ferry crossing prices to a port nearer to Loheac?

Nope, we are doing the Dover/Calais route. £78 return for the ferry, setting off 4.20am Friday morning and back 12.20am Monday morning. I reckon that by going the non toll route, it will take us about 5.5-6 hours from Calais.

Either way, it is going to be worth it!!!

Heard a rumor that Walfridson might skip Loheac to work on the engine. The engine has been weak and has not worked properly during the season so he is aiming at Austria and Germany too do good. Don't know what Lysen will do

The entry lists have been appearing on the RX site about a week prior to the events, haven't they? So it must be imminent?

Forgive the double post, but a small preview up on the RallycrossRX website...

http://www.rallycrossrx.com/article/...ssrx-of-france

...and on Rallycross World...

http://www.rallycrossworld.com/2013/...-seven-france/

...no entry list though!

Also spotted this short video of Loeb testing. Looks to have been filmed from a drone (or by a man on a tall ladder) as it gives quite a good overview of several sections of the track:

On the run down from Calais to Rouen, I used the A16/A28, but there is tolls around Abbeville, is there an easy way around these?

There is no easy way around the tolls, only a longer route. I think I have come off the A16 at Boulogne and taken the D901 and D1001 to Abbeville. Google maps suggests 566 km, 6 hours 32 mins via the D roads whereas 562 km, 5 hours 2 mins on the toll road. No further but a darn sight longer.

Maybe we will just stick to the toll road. There are three of us in the car so it's not too expensive.

Yeah I went that way with the wife when we stayed in Ancinnes (half an hour south of Essay) and you're right, it is beautiful but an hour or so longer is tough to justify!

Posted by ERC24 on Facebook (and pointed out to me by Hickey!), but I thought it was worth a post here, Loheac provisional entry list...

http://rallycross-afor.com/engages/2...t%20130823.pdf

...32 supercars (33 if ERC24 are correct about Henning Solberg), 8 TC and 40 S1600. That's the best SC and S1600 entry of the year, isn't it?

EDIT: Just checked, Holjes was 37 SC, so just the biggest S1600 entry!

Great to see Kevin making the trip.

Absolutely no idea how to call this one in the Supercars. More than half the field could win it!

Just two more days of work to endure.

Official entry list now up on the RallycrossRX website:

http://www.rallycrossrx.com/article/...ry-list-for-rx

35 Supercars
8 Touring Cars
37 S1600

(The list on Rallycross.com indicates that Ronny Scheveneelsisn't running, so perhaps 34 Supercars?)

The weekend cannot get here soon enough!

No more Lysen in 2013. Probably replaced by Linnerud in Austria and Germany.

With Lysen' small budget I never understood a) why they built a new car b) why they not built a Mk4 Clio.

This season was supposed to be something new and exciting with the new car. The car is very special and is very different from the old Clios. Also the car was built in cooperation with a few people, he did not stand for all the costs himself. Helmia Motorsport, Walfridson, Hvaal, old Volvo people etc were all in this and gave it their best efforts. Unfortunately the engine haven't worked properly and is weak, therefore the Lysen and Walfridson falling behind.

They have all the body parts needed for an MK3 Clio and is experienced with the chassi. Building an all new MK4 would cost more and would be an all new design with more body parts needing to be built. They don't have the manpower either and it would have took A lot of time

Early days I know but really pleased for Andy Scott given Meeke's pace so far. He has put so much into the sport since has been in it including coming out at Knockhill to support rallycross continuing in Scotland

Hope the change in fortune continues. Andy deserves it.

However, Mark, he drove into the back of Kevin Procter, spinning him round, breaking his wheel and ending his weekend. So, he takes his fair share out of the sport too.

Wouldn't say Procter was any angel, he is just as much of a demolition man as his mate Bellerby! Rarely over the years in Europe does he not get involved in contact of some kind

Scott I would say drives fairly clean! Reminds me a bit of Janssen, a little over his head but just about hanging on!

Anyone know if there is a live stream anywhere?

Would agree with you about those two being out their depth.

Didnt Scott come under fire in the US for his driving?

Anyway, good day today, fantastic crowd and loads of good cars!
Think there's a live stream on rallycrossrx site...
