Some news for the event:
Mowlem is going to run in the Autocon car for Road America and Mosport. Does that make the team a contender if they can get their reliability sorted? Also the GTC cars have had a restrictor addition (running unrestricted before), so if I understand correctly this will knock down their top speed and make it easier for the GT and LMPC cars to pass them on the long straights at Road America. Also with the increase in restrictor size for the LMPC this should help get them some speed on the straights. |

much as Mowlem is a great driver, he can't really control reliablity, other than look after it.
Anyway..... The Ten-Tenths Spotter Guide will go online tonight (PST), sorry, had lots of other work to do. If you need a guide today, then the ALMS have already put there version of the guide online on the racehub section, although its only 1500 pixels http://americanlemans.com/primary1.p...=racehub#guide Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone leaves today |

If Hungary goes 6 hours instead of 1000km then a stupid stupid stupid 55 minute overlap - Radio Le Mans with 3 races at the same time

What you forgot was the #92 car suffered a penalty for having a mechanic over the wall. So it lost it's lap advantage and still had the pace to hold off the Risi, Lizard and Corvette. Dirk Muller set fastest lap of the race doing this whilst The #90 car was cruising a lap up. #45 Lizards gained a lap on a wave by at St Petes and Mid-Ohio last year - so it's not like it was only the BMWs that benefited from this rule. Nice time from Smith, shame that with these long straits that Mazda engine wont last the race distance.
