As I said earlier in the 'Fuel' thread over in the Gravel Trap, I'm afraid I won't be joining you merry band of folks at Silverstone this weekend. I don't have the fuel and I don't have the money. Sorry. When I watch this masterpiece on TV, I absolutely WANT TO HEAR those airhorns and shouts of "ARSE" over the racing ... |

I still don't think the crowd will be very big but at least the important ones will be there. US LOT!
And talking of important people Rick was 3rd overall in testing today with a 2nd in session 1 and a 1st in session 3. Well done. Looks like a good weekend in prospect. |

'Vader dude, are you familiar with the A14 east of Cambridge? Between Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds lies the quaint rural town of Stowmarket. That's Sparky central. If I do make it, and I may be able to after all, I'll be on my own, and begging a small, dry patch to lay my Magic Roundabout sleeping bag. Any chance, anyone? |

if the swiss family sparky can get to cambridge station, and there's 2 of you, then i'd be happy to help. if not, i'm afraid the people carrier doesn't have any diesel at the moment.
i didn't know you lived in stowmarket, dude! that's on the way to ipswich town (a well trodden path by cambridge inhabitants. premier league is so much better than division 2..) an afterthough - we have to go past royston railstation as well. if that's easier... |

I can get there under my own steam, I think, (who needs petrol! ) But I'm gonna need a corner of a tent to curl up in Saturday night... Don't know when I'll arrive yet... |

Party is over now. Oh My God, you lot aren't coming round to trash my place again!!!!!
The day went very well. The big secret is now out. There was some provocative advertising done by two tarts with t-shirts on for http://www.alanhydefanzone.co.uk which is now up and running. Hats off to all those that contributed to getting this site. Security have still not managed to chuck us out of a circuit yet. And Ten Tenths got a mention on Silverstone Radio as well, which was consequently followed by alot of air horns going off and a few shouts chucked in for good measure. Good time had by all. Hurry up Year 2001! |

Two tarts???? hummm not sure about that! he he
I am sad . . it has been an excellent BTCC year, with some of the best (and worse) racing I have seen. What are we going to do over the winter.? Just mailing the pictures to craig/lorna to see if someone could post them (pretty please) |

It's not just the racing that's been great, it's the company - made some really good friends in the past couple of years We'll have to figure out some non-motorsport outings, methinks Can't go for another six months without seeing you all!
Was great to meet Les and bella at Silverstone - another couple of faces put to the names... |

Sorry I couldn't make it, Guys.
I have a feeling there'll be plenty of other opportunities! (I guess I've seen my last ST race though...) And Craig, I want you to know that your 1:00 am phone call in no way influenced the decision! What time did you guys leave the circuit? |

Sparky, really sorry you couldn't make it - we'll be seeing you at Snett though hopefully ?
Apologies for the phone call - but I have to tell you that it was actually Dave who did the deed, then handed the phone to me... Sorry bloke! If it's any consolation, he did the same to one of the people who I work with too... |
