They were Dunlops but not L or Ms. Looked like something you see on some of the later prototypes.

Can't argue with that. Richard did extremely well and as far as I know there is nothing outside of the regs on that car.

Peter, good to see you very briefly. I saw the issues you were having with the misfire - what a nuisance.

At least you know it can't be the plug leads or dizzy cap Peter.

Plug leads, dizzy cap, ignitor, carb, leads, dizzy, magic eye, you name it we replaced it, put it back, then replaced it again.

And Roger, good to see you too. I went out on wets for practice and even though I was soon hampered it was a lot better than when you were out. Always amazes me how quickly circuits dry.

Well, I guess you'd have to be looking really, that's what Parc Ferme is for. There were one or two noteable absences in the Group 2's and I wonder if they had received one of those letters that had been issued as clarifications.

One thing I should mention. It was very good to see Vince Woodman there, taking an interest in all of the 70's cars. He's just had a hip replacement so wasn't pedalling his GAA Capri.

I felt sorry for John Young, After a masterful display in the Mustang, only to cross the finish line first and then the gearbox detonate, giving us a large oil slick to clear up.

It was a serious question Peter. I once changed everything electrical on an engine at mucho expense only to find it was oiled plugs. I also came away from from Snetterton once as my car was missing on one cyl, we checked near enough everything possible (quite a few other teams helped as well) at the track and gave up eventually. Later that night I had another look and immediately found one carb had sucked in a foam divider from one of the dual socks
Quite often the simple things are the ones that are missed.
Hope you get it sorted soon.

Needs a little more editing. Track looks rather narrow, no run-off area to fence and looks more like a rally stage in terms of surface!
