On closer inspection it will 'most certainly be identical to the T8 Holden concept that was released by holden motor sport (?)...

I think the current livery is better, more cohesive... this is a bit of a mess.

The red up that goes all the way up to the front wheel arch is a giveaway that that area will be covered by black vinyl IMO.

Norton clearly on the windscreen, Holden clearly on the lower front bumper and other minor positions... Wouldn't Letterman say "What!?", all that hoopla for minor sponsorship decals?

Of course Jamie could be pulling a swifty when he says "genuine livery underneath" - I guess they will wheel out a green Vodafone commodore to show Vodafone's support to reduce cobalt mining for mobiles, save orangutan habit etc?

Concept http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d.../2010888VE.jpg - Norton was originally on the windscreen I recall on another version.

This concept is far superior http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d...07/Misc/09.jpg

Have to disagree there. The one with the black is 100 times better then the 2nd link. The 2nd one looks too bland for my liking.

On your other comment, i'd be happy for them to take brights green now that he's not running that colour, would definitely stick out (Doubting holden would like that tho)

Not quite as cool as the drawing... note there is no Holden Ecoline branding, instead replaced with King Gee

If you go through all the photo's on the Holden Motorsport site, you'll notice that this isn't the car or possibly the final paint job. Count the wheel stud's and the look for the passenger seat.

Wonder if Murph is going to relocate from Mexico to QLD with this deal??

Certainly not as good looking as the drawing, it would look better if the green was darker though IMHO.

yeah a lot of teams seem to be going away from the coloured wheels which is a bit of a shame. It seems to be either white, black or silver. And black only look good with certain paint jobs.

Does anyone know anymore about these new wheels that they have to run next year? Are there any examples out there yet?

Black goes with anything lol.

I like the Castrol design, including the black wheels, except the rear of the car (bootlid area). Just way too much green there (unless its still lacking a few sponsors)

Certainly lost a bunch in translation.

Metallic green swapped for plain green and much smaller Castrol logos?

It's not the worst livery though.

It would be good to see the metallic green on the car. Was I the only one who thought the FPR Castrol scheme improved when they went to the metallic green?

no, i reckon that livery would look very nice with metalic green and it would also make the gold stand out better.

I like the design but I'm not sure on the colours, as in their shades, the green looks to much like a 'Pastel' green and not 'Castrol' Green, same with Red, looks like it has too much orange in it. I would have prefferd to see the colours a bit darker, same green and gold as used on the FPR Car and a Nice metallic red. I also think White wheels would suit it more, when I get some time I'll remake it and play with these aspects.

Although it would seem unlikely that the actual 'Race' car would be too different from this example...

This is just a 'show' car. (ie. It has passenger seats & 5 stud wheels)

Does anyone else see the irony in Russell (Ex Castrol in Perkins) carrying the SuperCheap sponsorship, and Greg (ex SuperCheap in PWR) carrying the Castrol sponsorship?
