I've always had a bit of passion for Lola and their years of stalwartly sportscar efforts but the HPD chassis is making them look a bit silly unfortunately

So, has the ARX01 a diesel engine, considering its difference to the other LMP2s (including the 2009 dominating Zytek)?
It just shows the difference between a prototype designed with manufacturers money and one developed by a small builder, even with the same kind or rules! |

The ACO deserves respect for tightening the P2 rules to discourage manufacturers. Not to take anything away from Strakka, HPD or Danny Watts though -that was a monumental lap! Ben |

Bloody hell I kept clicking on the 'Listen Live' link on the right side of the RLM page and listening to the test transmission - I didn't see the link on the left side. Missed the start!!

Spyker seems to be close enough pace wise to compete if they have there usual improvement throughout the race. Will be interesting to see how far up the LMP2's will end up as well.
PS. No live stream? |

I can't remember the last time a 6hr/1000 km enduro had qualifying the morning of the race. Is this something new to compact the weekend?

Vilander has thrown down some impressive laps and stretched out his lead to nearly 20 seconds over closest GT2 competitor.

Top 6 in GT2 within a minute of each other, and more than 4 hours left... anything can happen.

Just a quick warning about the 7:30pm coverage on Eurosport uk. Good chance it wont be shown at all due to Tennis being delayed due to weather.
Hopefully they will move the LMS to Eurosport 2 uk where they have news scheduled for 7:30 |

Alesi seems to have really frittered away the lead Vilander had built, so much so that Mullen is stuck to his exhaust pipes.
