No no, I think it's James that is- unless I misread his post....
As some will have already arrived at Goodwood, remainder during main set up day tomorrow, just want to wish all tenthers a good event. Keep safe and enjoy, whether you be spectating, driving, preparing, exhibiting, timekeeping, or involved in any other way! According to beeb, looks like super weather tomorrow, OK Friday, some rain Saturday as a front moves across, and then hopefully dry for most of Sunday. |

Dressing up
So Delta, if not a mini skirt, I hear that mini overalls will be all the rage!
Make sure you come and see the happiest band of marshals at Post 3 this weekend, as a spectator, not a driver though!!! |

Interesting drivers briefing!
One person stared in most of the incidents shown! |

Just up and lovely day . Waiting for my tea then off to see if we can start the bond and arnott 500. Must tell you about the Lotus 18 . Owner had not got the. At scrutineered so I got hold of them to come over . Driver diss appeared "as they always do"and as we got to the car there was a pool of petrol underneath . Owner had checked fuel level with using a dry break valve and gone of leaving the valve stuck open and covered floor with petrol . So I'm stood there with two scrutineers extreamly embarresed . It only happenes to me .

So the Revival in full swing.
We qualified yesterday in Brooklands a bit in front of rest False grid as two others of quicker cars had trouble so we were left on our own Race should be much more even The race last night was good entertainment One and two expected but Katerina in third! Wonder what it took to get that position? Superb work by her codriver Our race at 4 30 ish. Let's see what happens as the event is bigger than ever. |

Yes, well done all. Looks like the opposition was far more competitive in the race, but fastest lap always good!
Well done to Brian A also in Fordwater. Q9, finished P7 in the little Lotus. Not too shabby! I see that Delta has got the Lotus 18, Arnott and Bond though qualifying, so good luck with the 3 cars today. And hope for an improvement in fortune for Simon D in St Mary's Trophy! I was watching another popular annual event on tablet last eve that involves much roll play by folk in fancy dress.... Yes, it was Last Night of the Proms! |

Missed the Talbot unfortunately but watched the St Mary tin top race. Probably the best historic touring car race I've ever seen - Tom Kristensen was superb in the Fairlane hotrod.

Watched the car with interest through St Marys in qually on Friday, superb handling and performance amongst some pretty daunting opposition I thought. Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend for the racing on Saturday but Sunday's action was great to watch out the back, the commitment of the top runners through no name is something to behold particularly the St Mary's trophy and the TT front runners Some really entertaining racing in all the categories together with a fabulous 2 wheel ding dong made for a great weekend once again and thank God the rain held off! although at times the condition felt more like March than September at times!
