I don't know who it was, but there was an interview on radio ALMS few minutes ago, a guy close from the Audi team, saying that the R9 question was secret stuff, but he didn't denied the thing...

Customers cars (Mr Bentley, why don't you sale your Speed 8 ?), factory cars, ALMS's not dead !

oh dear, #67 TRG Porsche spun off at the rear of the circuit & pranged the wall. Driver isn't hurt, but the car's a write-off.

Meanwhile, the #08 Ferrari had a little "run-in" with the Joest Audi & spun at the 1st corner. No impact.

A little overheating problem with the Intersport Lola/Judd... hmmm, have to keep an eye on this for a while...

yeah, driver was Jeff Zwart. comming off the turn before the back straight, may have gotten clipped by a car comming alongsides. smacked the wall hard enough where it ripped the hoses open on the radiator & other coolers.

as I said, a write-off of a good car. damn.

Good news- Rafanelli Team Olive Garden is back on the track.

Oh No!!

Bad news- Rafanelli out yet again. Camathias lost it near the back section.

during the interview, Gabriele seemed to take it in stride. God bless him. They'll be back.

Am I dreaming or Panoz is still a car for the victories?

Well, another victory for Audi, but this is Champion, and they deserved it !

Good result for Panoz ! Will the customer understand that this car is able to do results if it's well driven ? Will they buy some ? Any news ?

An impressive result for the Maranellos, the Corvettes seem to have difficulties now to beat them...

When they've no problems and with good pilots, the Porsches are the beasts to beat in GT : another demonstration today, and they are 8 and 9 at the overall... not 1st, have we to notice it ?

The major failure is for LMP675 : fast, very fast, but to fragile for long races... 12 overall for the best, and the WR on the podium of he category ! Good result for Terada ! This must be the party at Welter's place ! They're just behind an MG which is 11 seconds faster on one lap... endurance ?

Well, good cover by Radio ALMS, and good timing ad scoring : we were able to follow the race as if we were on the spot...

See you at 1000 kms of Le Mans !

Fab, do you have any idea whether this 1000k Le Mans is the start of next season's LMES, or whether it's just an experimental event prior to the start of the new season next year? (if it is the first race, than has anyone got any idea whether the first race will continue to be run in the November the season before?)

I believe this is just a demonstration, or whatever you want to call it. This is what I have seen as the LMES schedule for 2004:

9 May, Monza
11 July, Nürburgring
15 August, Silverstone
12 September, Spa

Correct, RM40, this is a "launch race", and will never be re-conducted.

The LMES programm is given above, by RM40.

Just a "one shot", be there !

Hey, does anyone know who drove the #3 Corvette at the end of the race? I was wondering because that car was really flying at the end.

There are three on the entry list published- from Intersport (with the Judd V8 as at PLM) Chamberlain, and RML

The MG-lolas will be the 675s to beat, but the one with the V-8 will be the best bet....they will solve the cooling problem...a great run for a new project for Intersport.....

The AER has too many gramlins and they have not gone away in 3 years...the 3.4 L Judd may be the best way to go with that chassis...

Oh please Goodyear, give us a tire! The Vettes couldn't been smoked like that if not for the Michelins double stinting. Gavin passed for the lead in early part of the race, was that a strategy move? Is it just me, or did the previous variant of the C5-R run alot better? At least they got the manufacturers title (barely), so P&M will still be getting checks. If the C6-R is the savior to the Vettes, they couldn't come soon enough. The new Ferraris will be comin', and they have already shown themselves to be faster than the Prodrive cars.

No real fight for Champion, congrats on a walk in park victory. Glad to see JJ get some redemption.

675, doesn't really look any differant, does it?

Fab, gotta make mention of the Risi Ferrari in GT. They beat alot of Porsches. Roght behind the all powerful Alex Job cars seems like a serious testamony to me.

The Corvette would be quicker than the Ferrari if they had a one thing: MICHELINS.

Hey, was just now reviewing the PLM results. Noticed in GT that the HAZARDOUS/Zip team was AOL. That sucks. Anybody know why? Their website was no help, cool site though...

What happened to the JMB Ferraris?

The team ran out of money before Petit. The Hazardous trailer was still there with gear and a few of their girls were there, as well. I enjoyed watching that car at Road America. Best livery for a Porsche in the series.

One of the JMB Ferraris crashed in Miami and was too bent to repair in time for PLM. Then the second car crashed in PLM testing on Wednesday, again with damage too extensive to fix. They had the trailer loaded and gone by Thursday morning. Too bad for a really "try hard" team.
