That would be telling, but read the SEAT story below... "It will replace RML, which has signed up to run Chevrolet’s World Touring Carprogramme (see above)."

Louis Chevrolet was the man who started the company, and a former Indy 500 winner
See http://www.motorsportshalloffame.com...rolet_main.htm
But then, that means, the name listed on the car should be "Chevrolet" then. Isn't it standard that the last name and not first name, is always listed?

Perhaps they figured plastering the surname all over the rest of the car was enough?

Isn't funny that there are no rumours regarding possible drivers?

These Chevys you mentioned don't look better then the Daewoos. If you would have said Equinox or Colorado I agree.

Safe bet with RML moving over to WTCC, with a three car team - that the driveless Huff maybe in with a fair shot if RML have been impressed with him.

Plato & the Seat Cupra championship winner are no doubt saddled with the in-house Seat team next season in the BTCC.

I don't think RML decides who's in the car.

Belgian Eric Neve leads the Chevy project. (source: www.pitstoptv.be)

I think Huff's a pretty valuable asset to SEAT - they'll probably get the budget from somewhere to run him (they have to have 3 cars if they want the championship anyway...)

The Chevy team will probably be made of a load of Europeans that are not known too well in the UK.

Difference with Opel/Vauxhall and Chevy is that they will sell Chevy's everywhere the WTCC goes next year after Daewoo's rebranding.

Talking about Opel... will the WTCC programme affects the DTM programme?

Also, does the WTCC programme mean no C5-Rs/C6-Rs in the FIA GT or LMES next year?

An FUV and a truck, well they're not saloon cars.
Impala looks almost like Skyline from behind.

Wouldn't it be cool if the WTCC came over to NA as a support race for the F1 race at Indy? Now that GM is badging the WTCC as a Chevy, it really makes sense for them to race in NA. Finally, with GM's support, perhaps S2000 could enter a golden age, like ST did back in 95-'97!
