Sid The Manager should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Pricey wanted to do GP2 right from early this year, I think his FRV6 team was really a way of working with Renault to ensure entry. But the Aston deal might be more lucrative for him.

Are you sure its not Racing Engineering with Vodafone? They have been a partnership for 4 years now.

In Spanish F3 they have, yes, but Jean Todt's son is apparently bringing a Vodafone sponsorship package to ASM.

Well, we were only turned down by Bruno for being $50 short of $2500000.

Ordering two Dallaras is a back up plan (and they're always useful to copy bits off....)

Flo,

The Signature project is just a kind of joint-venture with an italian design company held by Paolo Catone. The chassis is based on the former Ralt chassis. It has the same rear.

Looking forward to this massively.
I am told that the list in Autosport is "not far off".
There is also a list at www.formula-2.net/gp2/teams_2005.php which is "pretty much correct".

I would therefore be pretty certain that where those lists coincide, the team will be there...and the only difference between the lists seems to be BCN / P1.

Anyway, the official list will be published when "all the teams have paid their deposits", or on the 1st December.

Indeed.

Hopefully that will help bring an end to some of the nonsense knocking of the series.

KB it's not nonsense knocking of the series, everyone hopes and prays that it's going to be fantastic, and I'm sure it will be. It's very easy for non-combatants to be blase about the needs of the drivers, who are trying to raise money (a lot of money) and need a structure early in the hunting season. The series might be great but so far the organisation has been poor for drivers. The paying clients.

That's true, skyblue, but the perceived rival series "Formula Superfund" is not any further down the road.

I agree things could - and should - have been done better, but this series is going to thrive.
