they should do a swap and put Jack Perkins in the #11 commodore and put Dumbrell in #39 that way the stickers would have meaning and Jack would realy live inside with the Jack Lives Here stickers .

The track they will race on is the short circuit, which has a similar shape to Barbagello IMO.

I presume that all the VB signs will need to be covered up on team equipment/personnel and the like as well? |

Where is John Bowe. My tip for the round should be up there aclimatising perhaps even trimming the beard down a bit for the conditions.

No one will come close to the Walkinshaw boys we will really see who has the grunt here with a 950m back straight ... Just watch them pull away.
And it hurts me to say this. |

i hear this crap every round... ford have had far more round wins so it cant be that bigger factor. The real advantage the TWR guys have is pulling from the lower revs and the torque they have low down. It is not a slow entry to the back straight so the advantage is negligible. |

Well, we are going to Bahrain from good old Blighty, being our best chance of seeing (or should that be hearing) V8s in the flesh. And we don't care who does what or finishes where because we just want to ENJOY the whole spectacle - so do put on a good show for us, guys.
We've been in touch with ChampCarMan so hope to meet up with him. That will certainly add to the occasion. Our flight is tomorrow night so we might miss practice on Thursday, and we are a bit worried about the weather forecasts we've seen. Only the Brits can bring the promise of rain to the desert! |
