DEV should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Perth Street Race Petition

Hi all, as some of you may know, I am from WA and am keen on the proposed WA street race and have been for some time. If you would prefer to keep the Barbagallo round that is fine, but the new street circuit has way more benefits for the economy, spectator facilities etc. I have taken the time to create a petition to be forwarded onto the WA government and all is needed are a lot of signatures on it! Please take a moment of your time to sign it!

Thank you.

Is the other permanent track that has been spoken about for a while over there going ahead?

I'd sign a contract that was for both a Perth street race and a Barbagello round... But not just the street race.

I care because as a fan of motor racing, I'm sick of the seemingly endless plans to have rounds at permanent facilities replaced by races at street venues/overseas venues.

V8's walking away from permanet tracks means in alot of case's a slow decline. Why cause there no money to spend. It shouldnt be this way but it is.

I know alot of tracks could be run better but because the way that some are strutured this will never happern.

This is only my view.

Sorry, but i think theres enough street races on the calender. I have my doubts whether V8 Supercars would be able to successfully establish a big street event either. Indy and Clipsal you could hardly account the foundation of its success to the V8's.

I dont believe you .... more benefits for an economy going gangbusters at what price to WA motor racing.
Improved spectator facilities - temporary grandstands? New public toilets in St Georges Tce ..... what a joke.

How many motor sport events have you been to over the past five years - I'm skeptical.

No, I will not sign the petition.

We need to support our permanent race tracks, they are there for everyone all year round not for the coffers of VESA.

I would plead with all to NOT sign this petition - thanks

Now I'm not going to hide my fondness for street races but it's destoying the past if we have to many street races. Let's keep most of the races on our beloved race circuts.

I don't know if it the past they are destroying, but rather the future.

i say adelaide and indy are good and with the adding of the hamilton street race we have enough, and afetr all the good racing our perminant circuits have given us not only in V8's but all forms of motorsport, i think we owe it to them to keep the racing there, and also i think to many concrete jungles would be boring, and can only be used when V8SA want to hold a race there where as perminant circuits are there all year round for us to enjoy many forms/classes of motorsport on.
