Wow, a 2011 Williams! It should be very interesting to see how it fares once the likes of Klaas come out to play again.

No. HVM stands for Honnorat and Vallery Masson. French organiser of the F3 Classic serie and also drivers. In fact, Laurent Vallery-Masson will drive a car he rents to Armando Mangini.

Yes, more F1 would be nice. However the show in Le Castellet was very good and the french spectators were really impressed by these big and noisy single seaters.
I think more F1 will be in Monza.

Yeah, seems to be many GP2 cars available now, they are much cheaper and easier to run than old F1s.

Monza entry list

Hello,
Below the provisional entry list for Monza

Ingo Gerstl - Toro Rosso STR1 F1
Jakub Smiechowski - Dallara GP2
Johann Ledermair - Dallara GP2
Christian Eicke - Dallara GP2
Jens Renstrup - Dallara GP2
Veronika Cicha - Dallara GP2
Wolfgang Jaksch - Dallara GP2
Florian Schnitzenbaumer - Dallara GP2
Phil Stratford - Dallara GP2
Armando Mangini - Dallara GP2
Henk de Boer - Dallara GP2
Hans Laub - Dallara Worldseries by Renault
Martin Kindler - Dallara Worldseries by Nissan
Karl-Heinz Becker - Dallara Worldseries by Nissan
Wolfgang Jordan - Dallara Worldseries by Renault
Walter Steding - Dallara Worldseries by Renault
Philippe Haezebrouck - Dallara Worldseries by Renault

In my opinion not a bad grid, but I was hoping for more F1 (Zwart, Van Eerd, D'Aubreby). However, good to see Ingo Gerstl in a modern Formula One and a new manufacturer (Toro Rosso) in Boss GP.

that's a very interesting thing with Gerstl and the Toro Rosso. How came this? Has he anything done at that car or is it original?

And what about Zwart? Why isn't he racing anymore?

That Toro Rosso is very intriguing indeed.

If we can get Ingo, Klaas, Didier (2011 Williams) and the '97 Benetton (De Boer?) out on one grid it'd be brilliant.

Following what I saw on the boss website, Ingo is driving the Toro Rosso in Monza !
I agree whith Adam, have all the F1 in the same meeting would be great.

Zolder - Entry list

Hi, below the entry list for Zolder

Jakub Smiechowski Dallara GP2
Christian Eicke Dallara GP2
Johann Ledermair Dallara GP2
Christopher Brenier Panoz Superleague Formula
Gilles Brenier Panoz Superleague Formula
Veronika Cicha Dallara GP2
Wolfgang Jaksch Dallara GP2
Florian Schnitzenbaumer Dallara GP2
Armando Mangini Dallara GP2
Henk de Boer Dallara GP2
Hans Laub Dallara Worldseries by Renault
Karl-Heinz Becker Dallara Worldseries by Nissan
Walter Steding Dallara Worldseries by Renault
Peter Göllner Dallara Worldseries by Renault

Not the biggest grid of the season for sure, but not so bad in my opinion, as Zolder has never been a race that has attracted a lot of competitors.

Indeed it's not the best grid, but it's ok for Zolder.

The entry list for Assen should be much more interesting, probably the best of the season.
Bring it on!

The remaining AutoGP cars would fit in quite well, wouldn't they?

They would. And with their 3.4 liter 550hp engine they could be a real contender for the Master class.
The championship seems in trouble, I think some cars will be on the market soon.

There are so many cars around being prepared or ready to race in BOSS GP. What you need is the funding for running it properly and a team that is able to run it.
These 2 things are the biggest problems, buying a car is the easy part.

You are right Simtek. The point with big car is not the purchase, it is the money you must spend to run it. However, when you see the money that some drivers spend to race GT car or prototype, the Boss GP has a good ratio price/performance. But the Championship needs more mediatization to attract drivers.

Next Boss GP meeting is in one month (Assen). So pending some news from the other side of the Atlantic ocean.

On june 14, has occured the "Brickyard Vintage Racing Invitational", one of the biggest event for historic cars in the US.
In Group 9 (group for BOSS cars), James French did the fastest laptime in qualifying and won the race with is Jordan 197. His father Brian, finished second in his beautiful Benetton B197 (both car run a Judd V10 engine), in front of Jacek Mucha (ex De Boer Panoz Champcar). Very good result for Cal Meeker, who was 5th in his Williams FW08C, followed by a pack of IRL/Indylight cars.

Some pictures (from Monoposto Racing facebook page)
