The Jaegermeister sponsored-car was run by Walter Brun's team IIRC?

FLORENT MOULIN should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hi all,

Merci "Zakspeed" for the pictures there are very rare shots from the Brunn's car.

Schmipf was the owner of Jagermeister company and Brunn's main sponsor ( also with the 962 program ) he did some Hill Climb races with the car in 1985.

This was the ex. Stuck car in 1984 DTM.

Chassis RA2-36

This car was exhibited totally restored for almost 15 years at the Sinsheim Museum in Germany near Hockenheim, owned by Niederhof. It was offered for sale for a while and was sold 2 or 3 years ago. When I saw the car in 2005, the chassis was red and less engine.

A few pictures from my car at SPA in 1985.

The first one was dedicated by Serge Power, its builder when I met him in 2009.

The "Commodore" car entered by Fornage in 1985, he had four cars on the grid that year.

Car number 16 : driver Philipe Haezbrouck is posing for the picture

Car number 26 : Paul Belmondo's spin during practices, already posted here but now in better quality

Zeltweg 86

My car is the second ( Iso Sponsor ) driver Philippe Haezbrouck with the yellow shirt.

That race it was co-driven by Team owner Dominique Fornage.

Hi Florent,
Nice pictures from a great era, while it is so cold outside I might try to find a few to post.

By the way, are you sure the chassis number is correct for the Brun 635 ?

I don`t think Schimpf was the owner of Jagermeister, but I think he married the daughter of the owner. Then he was responsible for the sponsorship side.
Quite a nice job I would say !

Hi Alex,

Just sent you an email.

You're probably right about Schimpf, I got my info from Niederhof.

Sure you have some nice shots to ...

Best

The car was part of Brun Motorsport, although I have recently seen a picture of a scale model with an Eggenberger Motorsport sticker on the rear lid! During 1984 Walter Brun also had a Warsteiner 635, for Leopold von Bayern, and at least one other CSi running.

I saw a Jagermeister car (listed as the Stuck 1984 car on the display) at a museum in Germany, probably Sinsheim actually. This would've been in Spring 2006? I think it was sat next to a Zakspeed Capri and a 205T16 Peugeot?

Was this the car you mean Florent?

See if I can did out the pic (hopefully I will also find the red Bavarian shot i took at the '84 TT as well!!)

Hi Chunterer,

This is the car indeed, it was less engine.

The Capri was at the left from the car.

I assume E24-RA1-7. The sign says `For Hire` and underneath `will drive for food`.Alex

All these great shots of the cars from 1983-86 makes me wonder if there's any footage about of the DRM/DTM from those years - season reviews or anything?

Motorsport-dvd (a store I found on ebay) seems to have some season reviews but not before 1988.

Anyone got any ideas?

Video

There is a good film of the `83 Nurburgring race on Youtube. Seems they only got serious about filming it all around `87 when the racing got more serious. From then on all DTM races were on Eurosport, I did video loads of it, still got it somewhere I think.
Alex.
