Where did you get the stint lengths? Or did I miss it being announced
(I'm back to RLM, Mr. Watson keeps annoying me) |

The way Watson pronounces it, it can have any letters you want.

Stint length violation for the #14 Emil Frey Jag as well.
At this rate the winner will be the car with no penalties by default. |

So there was more wrong with the Mercedes than just ignition timing. "those? They aren't turbos, honest"

Drive-through for #7, I did think it was a bit strange that Smith could keep the charging #28 (Rast) behind for so many laps...

7 immediately goes way over the white line on pit lane exit. Watch this space for a penalty.

Crash at Radillon? Sounds serious, FCY called immediately.

Gone a long way up the road, hopefully the distance travelled means no single huge impact.
Mercedes are moving forward, still betting on them to win. |

Moving to a safety car. I assume barriers are being rebuilt again.

According to my amateurish calculation, you can save one pitstop during the race by taking the stint lenght to the limit, compared to pitting every 60 minuts and having a safe margin. Feel free to shoot down my calculation
Maybe the race engineers are taking in to the limit? And getting it wrong sometimes. |

Off course, and they do get an extra 5 minuts when theres a safety car, right?
Just seems weird so many teams getting it wrong, even if only for a few seconds. |

Agreed. But as Graham Goodwin said, maybe the rule is written in an odd way that's caused this. Its unusual so many teams get tripped up

Only one recovery truck in site so I assume we're not getting barrier repairs this time round.

So despite penalties all round, both works Bentley are still on the lead lap. Audi however are looking particularly strong. Wonder if we'll wake up to a Mercedes on the lead lap tomorrow morning.
