3, but one is unlikely. thus two. They two still race, just will be part of a different category. Dropping categories due to lack of entries is not a new thing for the 12 hour, its no big deal. Its not like the fans care anyway |

No one expected this two car German GT4 entry. What's to we say we won't see anymore in that class? . All we need is one more entry. Wonder if St Galen will return? Entirely possible

I was just thinking that. Maybe the returning champs in one car and an all Aussie car like Audi used to do? |

It was about 40km/hr faster down Conrod than other GT4 spec cars were. It's the same reason GT4 cars dropped out of Aust GT - it's supposed to be a BOP category and yet a car with the same engine as the Evora GT4 but is 200kgs lighter AND they got to upgrade some parts for more power than factory meant no BOP limited GT4 car could get near it. I think you'll see once it's known TA is switching over to a MARC after the Exige got wrecked you'll see more GT4's coming back to the event - and to the new secondary GT class here in Oz next year. There are plenty of Ginetta GT4's kicking around in the country that simply couldn't be bothered before for this reason. |

Bathurst 12 Hour
MARC Cars Australia has confirmed a number of key drivers for their campaign on the 2016 Liqui-Moly Australia Bathurst 12 Hour.. the roster includes several experienced hands and some talented young guns. Great to see the Aussie-designed and built enduro racers back bigger and better! STORY > http://bit.ly/1js6s0c |

Interesting to see Morgan Haber in one of the MARC cars. Maybe he won't be back with Erebus next year or there's no room for him in their lineup.

For me they are basically sports sedans. I love the MARC cars but we have to admit this. I guess people are ok with it because they are not outright contenders.

As i said, my only issue with the mazdas was their age, and im happy to be consistent in this approach. I think the 12 hour has moved on from its origins and we dont need really old cars competing any more . at the top we have many state of the art cars recent cars Seperate thought pattern, would be great if there were some shade structures along pit straight, especially down towards Hell Corner, maybe those big red bull tents would be great Last edited by peckstar; 3 Dec 2015 at 23:07. |

If we start knocking out competitors because we dont like the age of their cars, or the colour of their cars, or their pit crew dont wear nice enought shirts - I am concerned where the event is going. |

We already exclude certain types of cars, limiting by age when we have large fields is surely not an issue. happens everywhere else in the world. |

The fact of the matter is the entries were in months ago, and have been withdrawn by the team owner since the entry deadline passed. |
