Audi domination in Wuhan. Sad to see Hyundais on the back of the field after just one week from Ningbo. This BoP+compensation weight system has to be reviewed.

It would be a shame to see Turkington leave the BTCC, but it would help the WTCR if he was racing there. Would go with his theme of not being able to defend his title with WSR!

I like Tom Coronel, but he's been terrible. He's nowhere close to the All Inkl Hondas

So, race 1 wasn't on Facebook like it usually is and I spoilt the result for myself by looking for it. I was able to catch the highlights in the evening but was it shown live?
Wuhan's not too bad of a circuit but the run-off at turn one just asks to be abused. It's like turn 2 at Sochi. |

Big congratulations to Shedden for Race 3 win. He become 13th different winner this year.
But, these two races in China had very bad organisation. Kerbs that are braking on their own at Ningbo, workers 'beating' kerbs with hammers at Wuhan, dozer with forks installed was removing cars I mean WTF... |

Bennani and Shedden shares the victory for Race 2 and 3 respectively, not a good weekend for Hyundai runners

It’s in better shape than it was 12 months ago, so there’s a start

I read a unconfirmed programme rundown from Chinese social media for the Macau GP, of course it's the Chinese rundown: WTCR Race 1 will take place at 14:25 (local time) on Nov 17, and 2 races on Nov 18: Race 2 at 8:20, and the last race at 11:00 (both local time)

TcT wrote today that veteran Touring car star Andy Priaulx is getting a factory seat in the series. History repeats itself. So you might wanna pay attention.

Surely if they fix the tracks, WTCR could provide a great entertainment like WTCC was in the mid 2000'
Priaulx has to work hard to readapt to FWD cars. Also Turkington is expected to join in 2019. He drove the FWD VW Passat in 2015 and he won some races on pure pace. Obviously these two would be a lot better in RWD cars |

I would look forward to see Priaulx, Turkington and others fighting in WTCR but only if there are better tracks and BoP things are repaired. Without it, I still would hold little interest in this series unfortunately. This year it lacked this excitement of mid-00s WTCC that I'd hoped for.

They need to expand the grid a bit, 30 cars should be the aim, not 26. The calendar wouldn't be my choice of venues, however there are some good ones, Macau, Suzuka, Zandvoort Vila Real etc. The rest I wouldn't be too fussed about replacing.

Binning the ditch water dull narrow street circuits would be my priority. They don't (Villa Real being the example I bang on about) produce racing. It's simply the equivalent of watching a procession of buses along Oxford Street. Just a smidge quicker, but equally dull. At least Oxford Street has pigeons...
