Sepang is a good track although maybe the action will be a bit slow for touring cars... Any more info on this side? Because it's known that Gordon has another year with Audi and shouldn't leave |

If Sepang pays WTCR to go there, they must go. Better there than in Losail. TCR International has been there before.

Looking good.
https://www.touringcartimes.com/2018...ynk-co-03-tcr/ There's no way Cyan/Polestar/Volvo/Geely/Lynk&Co (it's not a works team, honest) would make their car worse than the Hyundai they were allowed to run for a season to gather data on. Thus, this is the next dominant TCR car and if I were a customer team, I'd get my name on the order books asap. |

Ceccon should continue in WTCR. He has different proposals... but he has really appreciated his time in team Mulsanne

Interesting to see Farfus back in the 'typical' touring cars. I'm really curious what he'll be able to achieve next year. And also, teams running factory-supported Hyundais are not mentioned. Possibly Tarquini and Michelisz in BRC again but what about the other two?

Two-car teams to be introduced and points system overhauled in 2019
So, new points system will award points for the first Qualifying and points for the top15 as the grid will expand to at least 30 cars. Comtoyou with 2 Audis and maybe 2 Cupras |

I think the rule that a team can only have two cars and manufacturer only four is wrong. Why not allow those who can run three or four cars to do so?
And if there are four cars per manufacturer it means there'll be eight manufacturers as Ribeiro said it's most likely the grid will be 30+. So Audi, Cupra, Hyundai, Lynk&Co, Honda, Alfa Romeo(??), Peugeot and Volkswagen I suppose. |

I think there could be some surprises next year. It's difficult to immagine that Romeo Ferraris or the Peugeot team will line up 4 cars each (although with different teams). Maybe there will be a new VW team but still there are at least 2 slots to fill. Maybe it's time for the Kia returning? Is the Lada homologated to race in WTCR? Then also Opel and Renault are not represent in WTCR |

I've not seen it mentioned so far, but what's the situation with wildcard entries in 2019? In 2018 we had a maximum 26 car entry with the provision for an additional 2 'guest' cars at most rounds.
Will that still be a thing next year, and if so, I assume they will be exempt from the max 4 per manufacturer rule. |

Actually, I support the limit for both makes and teams, because it may level the field a bit. And make the Team championship more even. Though, of course there will be teams like Audi Comtoyou and Comtoyou.
Monster line-up for Hyundai. Have a feeling that BRC will have Tarquini + Farfus/Catsburg while the other team will have Michelisz + Farfus/Catsburg in order to split the experienced with car guys across both teams. |

Indeed very strong lineup for Hyundai.
It's great to have Catsburg and Farfus back. I have mixed feelings about the max 4 cars limit. I understand the reason and agree with it but if this leaves out top teams/drivers at the end it's bad for the series. Personally I hope All-Inkl will run Opels. |
